One of the funniest things about this forum……
and one of the reasons I tolerate reading so many brain-numbingly stupid posts is because it is damn funny to read how completely out of touch with reality some people on here are. A collection of people who do little beyond read the biased press and selectively believe what they wish was true.
So here are two snippets of real commentary, unfiltered by FOX, MSNBC, etc. One for each wing of the Wacko society to applaud, and one for them to choke on. I don’t want to play favorites here.
I was at an event in DC today and the main people everyone was there to hear/record/interview were—in typical senior political fashion—ridiculously late with no concern for the peons waiting around. I started to talk with some of the guys & gals behind the reporters—the camera men, the runners, etc. Here were their comments, almost verbatim.
The FOX guys about Ted Cruz: “In a city full of swollen heads he sets a new standard for ‘giant sized’, and for being an asshole to anyone he doesn’t think can do him a favor.”
The CNBC guys about Bernie Sanders: “Every time he is late I wonder if his staff is looking for a new box of Depends.”

At least Cruz has the balls to call out our smarmy little Demagogue of a President for his snide remarks in a Foreign Country concerning those that disagree with him.
I think the Foreign Press is on to him, though. Most are probably wondering how a Country as great as America could elect such an inept little twerp.

How predictable the replies:
--two that do not pretend to address the OP but just make personal attacks
--followed by two that ignore the OP and attack Obama, because isn't that the topic of every post? (or attack bush if you are a liberal)
Sorry folks, the topic of the OP was how two of the wonderful (GAG!!!) candidates we have as seen by the "invisible people" who interact with them quite often.
But I forgot, Saint Teddy is a hero.
Each time I think we can't fall deeper into the sewer I am reminded about what a wretched choice we are likely to have come next November. Why can't you stupid, brain dead republicans put someone on your ticket that can save us from the wicked witch? It isn't hard, but really: Trump, Carson, and Cruz? Truly the three stooges at work. You RWWs are working really, really hard to lose an election I didn't think there was any way for you to lose. And you are too stupid to even see it, aren't you? Attila would be a better candidate--and he is dead.

As usual you are correct. I personally don't like any of the candidates. I do believe it is the Republicans election to lose. And so far they seem to want to lose by choosing some wacko. I would like to see some independent with some common sense run, and shake up both parties. But it will probably come down to the lesser of two evils.

I gave you a response to counter your remarks about Cruz. Cruz is in the news at the moment because of his remarks about President Obama.
I could care less about Bernie Sanders.

Ok, but is that all? No gossip on the rest of the candidates? What are they saying about Trump and Hillary?
Btw -- I'm not a big Cruz fan and I don't rate him very highly in terms of being likeable or trustworthy. But I do appreciate his quick razor-sharp mind, articulateness and ability to think on his feet. Maybe one reason he isn't popular with reporters is because they know they can't win when they try to play gotcha with him.

Then don't read them DUMBASS. Why is it that so many of you Republican supporters always think because you like it up the ass, everyone else does? No wonder you won the poll, sorry I didn't vote for you.

But they do not. Saying that Hitler was a disgusting human being does not in any way imply that Papa Joe was a nice guy. Saying that Obama has been incompetent in no way addresses that Cruz is a jerk.
I could care less about Bernie Sanders.

Not this time. Those were the only two "interesting" pieces I heard yesterday. And these were not the reporters--these were the behind the scenes folks who carry the lights, hold the cameras, and generally get treated like sub-humans my many of the reporters. They don't get to "gotcha" much of anyone.
