Houston suggestion please

There's a small chance i may find myself stuck in Houston tonight - in a vortex of travel hell.

Any suggestion of clean and cozy hotel near thr airport?

I'm assuming you're talking about Bush International, not Hobby.

I've stayed at the Doubletree and it's OK for an airport hotel. It has all the amenities.

There's Homewood Suites (I haven't stayed in this one). This is my ATF, and I stay at a lot of these since my stays tend to be weeks, if not months. It's a suite hotel, and serves a full hot breakfast and a full hot supper included in the price.

There is a very nice Marriott on the Airport property, and a Courtyard close by with free shuttle. I usually stay at the Omni, but it is a bit of a hike from Intergalactic (Bush Airport). As IAH is out in the boonies, there are not any cute little places out there, unlike downtown or the Galleria area. Wish I had a less chain-oriented suggestion for you.

Hope you don't get stuck there sweetie, even though I went to college in that town LOL!

I've found that when I (you) am in a "vortex of travel hell" so is everyone else and I am grateful for warm, clean accomodations as close to the airport as possible (hopefully with a shuttle) & and if I'm really lucky there is some form of food available that doesn't come from a vending machine.

I've also found if you relax and take a "fuck it....not much I can do about the blizzard tonight" attitude you can have a good time. If there is a bar, go down and have a few pops and make some new friends. If ever there is a situation where both parties appreciate that a hookup is a NSA thing, it is when you are both snowed in at the airport hotel...

Oh well....maybe next year! Ugh...who am I kidding? Were it so we all know she'd be coming to H-town to bestow such a gift on WTF!!!


P.S. I think it's been pretty much covered. If you're an SPG lass....there's a Sheraton nearby that offers shuttle service to & from the airport. Good luck! It's that time of year...thought I was getting stranding in Chicago yesterday....

Made it to New Orleans safe and sound! I got lucky that there was one flight left and they had a seat to put me on.

Between weather and mechanical problems I was at airports from 8am to 11pm.
