Treating yourself...

so, I'm taking the afternoon off...
I'm going to Johnson County to visit a spa for the day
After that, I'm thinking about trying Cafe Casbah in Shawnee.(I'm a vegetarian, and a relatively selective eater) I'm even planning on seeing the movie, Devil a little later...

What restaurants do you guys and gals especially enjoy treating yourselves to when dining out?

Melting Pot on the Plaza is oh so delicious. Yum. Sometimes for cocktails I will go to Skies on top of the Hyatt. The view is so peaceful. When it snows it's like being in a snow globe. I've actually never been to a spa and I go to Great Clips to get my hair cut. LOL. I'm just your average girl next door.

I would love to volunteer to give you a baby oil body massage and in addition I will go to HyVee and get some carrots, celery, and grapes to feed you while I work out your kinks.

I can be vegetarian for one meal...

I agree with Allie Skies is great for drinks, especially late night.
The American Restaurant and Bentons are always a good choice but when I choose to indulge it is Andres, http://www.andreschocolates.com/, they have a nice little Tea Room that is only open for lunch but it is the desserts that call your name.

Another chocolate place is Annedore's, http://www.annedoreschocolates.com/, they have some great edible chocolate shot glasses.

And you can't forget about Garozzos.

Of course company makes the meal and any venue is special if you share it with the right person.

I've only been to Skies once, i think...It was nice, from what I remember

well i hope you had fun at the spa wishing i could go and do that one of these day lol yeah right!!!! you know how busy my life is outside of work and well how slow work is sdo no chance of spa day,i really hope you had fun for the both of us
