Is everyone driving a BMW an asshat
So I was coming to dallas on Friday. Near longview, I noticed this Older model red car blocking the passing lane and a blue BMW right behind her tail. I was pissed at the red car for blocking traffic. Apparently the BMW was more mad. The BMW cuts into the right lane and goes by and pulls in front of the red car in the left lane nearly clipping the red car and the car in front of him in the right lane. I was waiting in the left lane for the red car to clear. There was a big truck in front of me and the two cars in question. I was driving a sports car and couldn't see. Then all of the sudden traffic comes to a stop in the left lane. The BMW had pulled in front the red car and just stopped. I along with everyone behind me had to slam on the brakes.
I'm surprised there was it an accident as far as I could notice. The anger change to the BMW driver after he pulled his stunt.
I moved into the right lane and passed the mess. The guy in the BMW looked scared to death and mad at the same time... Constantly looking in the rearview mirror. As I passed him, I flipped him off.
That said he is probably a judge or politician and thinks he can get away with this crap. A lot of people could have been killed because of his stunt.

No, not everyone that drives a BMW is an "asshat." However, BMW's beg to be driven in such a way that those of us that do drive them could be perceived as being "Asshats." The guy you described was most certainly either a newb, an asshat or both!

My observation after driving in a lot of different states and countries is that there is a higher % of jackasses sitting in BMW's than other cars. That being said the jerk that cut me off, then followed me for a couple miles after I flipped him the bird, drove a honda..

The Tiny Wrestler obviously hasn't even driven a BMW!
(And, yes, I've had both . . .and, yes, the BMW will outperform the Vette even down at the 3 Series level . . . )

Haven't seen them use a Corvette in any of the Transporter movies yet.
But the 3 different 1999 BMW 750iL autos they used in the movie sure must have driven sales of the new body style for the 7 series.
And due to the cost, rarely do you see anyone in a 6 or 7 series BMW ever trying to prove dick size by driving like an asshat.

If you think you have a hot BMW that can outrun me all I can say is Bring it!. Even a 2009 and newer stock Vette can outperform a BMW especially at higher speeds. I did boost my vette with twin turbos, its got about 700 HP now and its scary fast. So bring your Euro Trash out in the real world or down to Cresson and we will see what you got.

The problem was not the BMW as it would not have caused the problem if the red car were following the law. This is such a common problem in Texas and it's totally inconsiderate. To help me feel better about all of these inconsiderate drivers, I have bought an LED display that reads "Slower traffic, keep right!" Thank you!! (in two languages) I can't wait for it to arrive!!

Ummmm did you miss the part where the bmw slammed on his brake in the left lane and just waited there. It wasn't you was it?
I'm just curious what all came of this... I'm sure the chicken shit left soon after. Should have gotten his license plate and called it in but couldn't see it.
You are going to get shot with that sign...good luck.

Interesting link.
Midget. I am not knocking Vettes, I always thought they were cool, but what the hell are you going to do with 700 hp on the streets of Texas?

The 700 HP is really quite an accomplishment for any car. The Vette weighs in about 2100 pounds and even a stock vette with 436 HP will manage about 190 MPH. I don't think a BMW can come close to that. Its not just the speed, its also the way the car handles. Yes 700 HP is overkill. I take it out now and then in the evening, in north FT Worth off of Highway 170 you can open it up and the rush of all that power is almost as good as a BBBJ.

Now that is a bucket list item - Getting a BJ while in the Vette going 190! That would have to be a fucking rush....
