My hairy balls.
Long as I can go buy one, don't feel I need to have one.

Yep. It’s blue steel. A cat couldn’t scratch it.

I'm not too worried. One retailer, one that isn't a big gun sales comparatively to others, not selling them doesn't mean others will follow. This will blow over and in 6 months, you'll see them on the shelves at dicks again.
Pretty sure you can still buy one at wally world.

Dick’s has a lousy selection anyway and I believe NO handguns. I never found anything there.
Academy, pawn shops, online retail and auctions are the most common places.

Maybe the better question is the best to carry?
I'm sure there are lots of glock or sig fans. Any kimber loyalists, S&W ?
Then there's the question of automatic or revolver.
I tend to think revolver only because of the magnum capacity and they don't jam up.
The .357 S&W 240 MP seems a good choice. Its not too small but also easily concealed where a 30.07 restriction appears.
Also you can use the cheaper 38 round for practice and not beak the bank on 357 ammo.

Excellent points. Everyone has their own reasons for their choice.
Revolvers are not complicated , very good and IMO a better choice for a woman.
I have quite a few types myself. Do to a hand injury I have chosen something easy to chamber. Plus I like classic stuff.

There is a new 1911 that is double stacked. That just makes me curious. If you don't need to conceal, why not wear a boss of a gun like that?

Yeah, Glock and Sig are good guns. I have a Sig P229 in 40 cal. and a Ruger LC9. The Sig is very accurate more so than Glock in my opinion. The slide spring on Sig is helical where as the slide spring on Glock is single stranded less ejection malfunctions.
