Online is one venue where structural racism can be seen in plain sight. As I become acquainted with this underground industry, where the value of a woman is in plain sight. Her worth is advertised without a hint of political correctness. No excuses are made about class, schooling or occupation. every woman is simply a scantily clad commodity who with the click of a mouse, is deemed wanted or unwantted for purchase.Although the playing field is leveled in that regard, race manages to be the biggest dividing line between the women who are highly prized and those who are practically worthless. I'm learning men are willing to pay the highest premium for “whiteness.” Thi is evident in the word choices white women use to self-advertise. The providers who charge the highest fees describe themselves as “blue-eyed,” “blonde,” “brunette,”"playboy type" “the girl next door,” more often they are “All-American.” These are the Barbies: perfect by definition and valuable. “ A advertisement I found about applying to an Escort Agency (Tips/Suggestions),” illustrates this divide between white and black workers perfectly. It reads:“When applying to an *upscale* agency – research other *upscale* agencies and *upscale* independent escorts – note their body types, age, race. If you are not like them or close to them, don’t apply. It’s simple business – fat, err, I mean thick girls cannot command upscale rates - black girls are RARELY considered upscale (unless you are a legitimate 10 and have caramel complexion). Again, simple business – supply & demand.” Are you fucking serious?This infuriates me. Now you've done it! Broached that unspeakable topic that shapes so much, but if you bring it up, you're the one who's lost it. I'm just gonna pop in to say my piece and never look back. Not because the original post isn't relevant. But because the trolls are gonna start piling up.

A personal experience that opened my eyes to this aspect of our subculture is the rejection I received when I applied to a local agency in the Spring before I got started independently. Not only was I Black and curvy, but rather than wear my hear straightened, as the reprehensible Don Imus would say I am "nappy-headed." So in more than a few ways, I deviated from the blonde, blue-eyed, All-American GND look.

Fast-forward, and after some tribulations, I've found my way for the most part. In fact that agency owner started harassing me on & offline for having the gall to make it and do somewhat well, when I assume she had no intention of ever needing to see my face again. Eventually she fell back and even hired a few Black escorts after never having done so for years.

The last thing I'll say is that the matter is multi-leveled. There are some who truly don't believe or would never admit out loud or in public that they are attracted to Black women. And then, there are those who do have a "taste for chocolate" and would pursue booking a Black companion. But they won't admit they have two different "hobby" budgets. In Louisiana, Texas, and elsewhere I've seen where clients book white and non-Black providers who charge 300-400. Yet their cap when looking for Black providers who are on par when it comes to reputability, professionalism, investment in presentation, etc. is about 33% or even 50% less.

My favorite type of guest is rare, one who has diverse tastes and also doesn't expect me to grant him a "But Lena, you're Black" special.

In my younger days, I passed up a lot of pussy because I based my decision on looks only.
As an older gentleman, I now base it on attitude, ability, experience, cleanliness, ext.
However, there are still women I will not be associated with due to their looks. I'm just not as picky as when younger. There are some females that I just cannot get close to because of looks.
It has nothing to do with color.

I hate that you feel this way, and that society has you feeling this way. Get in the gym? Really? From what I can see of this young lady, she has a beautiful body. I would love to do doubles with her. This is sad, but unfortunately a lot of what you said is true. You forgot to mention young. One guy on my local board actually said he prefers a young white skinny 3g girl that is expensive over a satisfying experience. lol Ok... We all like what we like. They are not the norm in this business, and hopefully you will find that out for yourself.

You are beautiful,and it seems like you are smart. There are some ebony ladies and mixed ladies that do quite well in this business (I'm sure Lena is one from what I have seen). Hopefully they will chime in, or you will gain access to the ladies only area. A good portion of it may come down to marketing to the clientele that will appreciate you, because they are out there. I wish you much success, and don't get pulled down by this business. We all have imperfections that the trolls with try to make us feel bad about. There's a forum I visit and every time I go there and read the review section I'm amazed at how many reviews the white women gets compared later to other races of women.

A few white women well in their 40s get more reviews than slim, attractive black women and other races of women. Literally, I'm floored at the social conditioning that the white male has when it comes to what he considers attractive.

Literally telling a girl to "get in the gym" lol, like were all built with the same Petite 105 pound no butt having frame, built like a high school kid but born a woman.

I will say I won't even call it racism, whites are just pushed as the standard over everyone else and it's something I've learnt to accept , I don't complain or whine about it, I just work my way around and move on. I see plenty plenty of black clothes escorts and they'll tell me racism is the reason that barely make the money they wanna make but of course can't be so blunt with the white clients who see them. We all know the game, I still feel a way about the lack of black women in this business, very few who are attractive want to see black men for christ sake, I understand it's the dollar and a few dependable white clients who can see you each month and your set.

It's a messed up game but it's just life, every non white wants white approval to get accepted. A dirty white woman will have more favor and chances than the majority of non white woman, that's just life. I know women who married millionaires who waited tables at Dennys with a drug problem and black women with a damn PhD that can't find a damn man to save her life, it's just a brutal world we love in.

I hate that there is racism, and that it is still in existence to this very day. I hate that because of the color of ones skin, it divides the human race.

There are plenty of beautiful, strong African American women out there that command the respect they are not given in today's society.

People are quick to judge someone, by their outward appearance, before they even look inside the persons heart.
I hate that the color of ones skin, makes them any less desirable and any less important in the eyes of some narrow minded individuals.

I hate the fact also that women as a whole are judged on their size, and appearance before anything else. I hate the fact that some people will use the race card, and say they are not racist, because they have that 1 black friend they associate with but yet will not invite them to sit down to dinner at their table for fear of being ostracized by their own family.

I hate that people are judged by the color of their skin than by the content of their character.

It infuriates me that people are treated un-equally in today's society.

OP, you're right. All of our preferences are on blatant display here.

When I started hobbying, one of the things that surprised me was the number of providers, even black ones, that post "no AA." The first time I read those I thought they were saying no alcoholics (AA members).

Some providers won't see old men like me. That's disappointing to me. But there are plenty that will, bless their hearts.

I know that it's little comfort for you to hear cliches like "life is not fair."

I wish you the best, inside the hobby and out. There are probably lots of men near you that value what you have to offer. Show them your best and ignore the rest. You're not undesirable.

As to this part, you have to look at who said it. Essentially you got that comment from Y and Wakeup--not two of the more open minded folks on here. And in Y's case, not one of the brightest. But the reality is, yes, women--and men--who look like swim suit models ARE more physically desirable, and it has nothing to do with this board or this business of any single race. It starts in HS with who are the "hot cheerleaders", who get the invitations to the prom, and whose invitations are accepted.

I will say I won't even call it racism, whites are just pushed as the standard over everyone else and it's something I've learnt to accept , I don't complain or whine about it, I just work my way around and move on. Again, you over simplify. I have seen and heard more "I won't see black men under 30" comments than "I won't see black men". It isn't because a man's color changes on his 30th Bday. It is often (not always) because many of those ladies HAVE had issues with young black men.

I do tend to agree with your comments about "real life" more than your comments about what happens in this business. It should be easier to treat a person equally in a store, or an office, or as a neighbor--I deal with many people in those environments who I am not sexually attracted to. But this is a business where personal likes and sexual attraction is not separable. I have my preferences--they are not racial, but they are definitely preferences. There are a number of ladies on here I would be VERY interested in having dinner with, taking out to a show, talking for hours with--but who I would have less interest in carrying off to bed--and again, for me, it isn't bout race. This business is not the same as most.

Spending a lot of time in brothels, I have seen both sides of this. Married minority guys, mostly Hispanic guys married to Hispanic women, along with Black and Asian guys married to their own kind as well, come in wanting the white girl experience because they've never had a white girl. But I have also seen these guys come in wanting to fuck black girls, too, because in real life they are too intimidated to talk to black women. In regards to your point about black women having to be really hot or exotic / light skinned, I have seen some not so good looking, heavy, dark black women be successful at the brothels. As for me, a white guy, I guess I fall guilty into preferring white girls. But I have been with all types of women at least once in both the hobbying world and my personal life. They're all the same color on the inside, right?
