Default general idea?

Hi all

I live in the states but am coming down to CR for a few weeks in June. I've been there before and hung out a bit with my friend in a few strip clubs and massage parlors where we had a good time, but I've never stayed at the hotel de rey or any great hotel like that (I have been in there to drink and I saw the activity but could not partake).

I am going to carve out a few nights at the blue marlin and maybe get a room at the hotel del rey or someplace else (where are the hottest ladies in San Jose?).

Also what's the protocol? How much should I be expecting to spend daytime/nighttime? How long would they stay? Do they overnight or at least several hrs?

Thanks for your help showing me the CR ropes guys?

Feel free to answer in the thread or PM me if you prefer.

First off I recommend you join costaricaticas.com, there is all the updated information you will ever need in the form section. As far as hotels the Del Rey has the largest section of Chicas, but they do charge a fee to take one to your room ( I think it is still $15 per Chica). Sportsmans lodge (no Chica fee) is a good choice but stay away from the rooms next to the bar area if you want to get any sleep. The selection of Chica's is smaller but the quality is good. I have not stayed at the Dunn Inn or the new Mona Lisa hotel but they do have good reviews. With these other hotels you may have to go somewhere else and bring a Chica back with you. Either way all are close to each other so walk during the day no problem but take a taxi by night for safety. (Not all hotels allow guests so check before you book if it is not a hotel listed here).
The fee's will range anywhere from $60 to $100+ for an hour or so depending on your game, the time of the evening or day and your negotiation skills (speaking Spanish help here a lot). Always negotiate upfront ALL activities you want or they will try to up sell you after you get in the room and pay after the session, never upfront. If you pay first you will be disappointed as they will not give their best. One more point, be willing to walk away from a Chica if you do not get what you want for what your willing to pay, there are hundred more.

Over night stays depend on the Chica and if she has kids at home or not to take care of. Costs depend on the Chica, some if you get along well will stay for no additional costs other may want another $50 or $100. One important item is lock ALL valuables in the hotel safe before you let anyone in! Theft is rampant with the Chicas.

There is a printable map of all the Hotels, massage parlors, strip joints and bars on costaricaticas.com. Print this out and take it with you, it makes finding our way around very easy as San Jose can be confusing.

I know at the Sportmans lodge you will always find friendly Mongers there will to give you information.

Hope this helps.

Glad you woke up and decided to come back down to Ticalandia Awake.
Very seldom do I take anyone to the Rey. Maybe it's because the guys that stay there are not on any message boards. Maybe because of the convenience of having like shooting fish in a pool or maybe it's because they have money to burn and do not care about cost. Rooms around $100 a night + $12 chica fee.

Here's where my guys are staying.
Sportsman Lodge $49 - $199 a night. Hard to get into. Book way in advance.
Amistad $49 and up. Matt does a great job.
Castillo for the budget guy $39 and up
Dunn Inn - nice $49 and up
Hotel Little Havana - Girls, girls girls $49 and up
Mona Lisa $69 and up , girls, casino, newest and 93 rooms
Cocal Jaco Beach $89 and up. Beach, girls, pool casino, My o my.
Girls Del Rey, Mona Lisa and sportsman are about the same $60 and up, most common is $80. Cocal $60 and up common is $100.
All night $150 - $250 is common.
You will do ok in Costa Rica with the ladies. bring your favorite condom because we may not have it here. P.M. me if I can assist you further.

Lucky Dog,

Those costs are for the rooms at the hotel right? plus a fee to have a lady come visit if applicable?

I'm sure that the ladies want some kind of donation for their time too (or is that included in the costs above -- I'm sure that's not the case). I have a feeling that info is on the other website.

thanks again

I don't want to put words into Luck Dogs mouth, but the prices he quoted were for the room only. I can only vouch for two, Sportman Lodge does not charge a "Chica" fee but the Del Rey does.

The fee the Chica charges for services is up to the two of you when your are negotiating with the exception of the Hotel Little Havana I believe has a set fee for Chicas (Hotel/Massage Parlor).

awake900, I live here full time but am far away from San Jose. San Jose is a great place to visit and have fun but not live. Enjoy yourself.

Awake. All the rooms I quoted do not have a chica fee except the Del Rey which is $11 per girl. All the hotels are within walking distance of each other, it's why we call it the Gringo Gluch area. Much better places than the Rey to stay at. The Rey does have the most chica's on any given night but staying there is usually reserved for virgin visits and guys who don't know about the others. I have lived here in Costa Rica for 7 years now and started One Lucky Dogg about a year ago. Much needed service for the green horns.

Information from One Lucky Dogg is highly reliable. Keep in mind that we started the rainy season in full swing this month, so be sure to bring an umbrella and understand your beach time will be reduced. The good news is rain is a great excuse to spend some time under the covers with your favorite chica.

Among the Cocal (Jaco), Del Rey and Mona Lisa, which are the major pickup bars the girls will ask for $100 for an hour. Many will take a bit less, especially during the day and more frequently in San Jose.

At the moment the best daytime massage parlors are New Fantasy, Hotel Little Havana, Krysis and Relax. Off Paseo Colon, 360 has become very popular. Price for one hour of daytime action is under $50.
