So i have been in the hobby since i was 17 years old. About 10 years now. Never had unprotected sex with a escort but have received bbbj on several occasions. My question is for providers and fellow hobbyist. I am now married and i have been with my S/O for years now i get test often but usually pay out of pocket cause i dont want my insurance company to note the test. in my years ive never caught anything. but as of recent i am having more bbbj sessions. is there a real risk to this? has an hobbyist had to face there S/O with an std or caught one from bbbj its scares me everytime that i may have gotten something then my neg result is always nice and reassuring but the stress leading up is crazy! Yes, there is a real risk to this. Chlaymdia and gonorrhea, both of which are happy to live in throats, are extremely common STDs. They also often present without symptoms so most ladies will be unaware that they are harboring disease in their throat.

I have heard of many hobbyists contracting Chlaymdia/Gonorrhea this way. . .HOWEVER, both diseases are easily cured. For this reason, many feel that the risk is worth it for what they consider a better BJ.

My recommendation for an unattached client who would like to continue receiving BBBJ is simply to continue getting tested on a regular basis. The tests are easy, accurate, and both diseases show up fairly quickly.

Since you are attached, the issue is more complicated for you. If you do contract chlamydia/gonorrhea from a BBBJ (a risk I think is pretty significant based on the prevalence in the overall population), your SO will absolutely know you have been unfaithful.

Ok, so I have read on here many time that you can get an STI from BBBJ. If that is the case it would only be logical that you could get an STI from kissing. However I have never seen evidence that an STI can be transmitted this way. What gives?

Just let your SO know you are getting bbbjs ... then the stress is all gone about catching something.

you should be tested every 3 months if you are in the hobby. if your wife catches something you are fucked. here is where i get anonymous blood work.

Add HPV and herpes to the list. HIV is theoretically possible if the girl has bleeding gums or even a bad tooth.

Herpes is actually more common than you realize and can be transmitted even when the infected person has no obvious symptoms (cold sores). They can also be passed by kissing or even sharing food or a drink. HSV1 can spread to the mouth but you can get HSV1 on your genitals from a bbbj. (HSV2 can be spread by a bbbj but it is rare.)

In short, there is lots of stuff you can get from a bbbj or even protected intercourse. Some of it can be easily treated. Other things are permanent. You can pass many STIs to your SO before you even know you are infected.

1) Not seeing providers is your safest bet.
2) CBJ should be your preferred option if you plan to see providers but want to decrease your risk.
3) If your sex life w your SO is less than stellar, you could try telling her you aren't happy w how things are and tell her how you could be happier. [Many modern (ie girly) men of today don't think it's OK to tell a girl this. They are wrong.]

I have to think most guys that catch something got it from BBFS and not simply from a bbbj. I doubt most guys that get bbbj's are are engaging in protected sex all the time. How can you be sure of the true cause of catching something. No doubt cbj's are safer but unfortunately for me they're about as erotic as watching paint dry.

A lot you guys that are on here saying bbbj is ok are the main ones spreading diseases and I agree 3months should be often tested I have been doing it for years just to make sure I'm safe from not just the herpes and gonerea and chliymida it's too much risk and yes as i tell all my clients we have lives out side of this giving our loves one a std off probably a one time encounter can change your marriage relationship forever ladies protect yourself men be aware

Really? Sounds like something a cbj only woman would say. I must be real lucky then because in over 30 years of getting bbbj's I've never caught anything. This topic has been brought up before and studies have been provided. STD's are primarily spread through unprotected sex. STD's can be caught through oral but it's rather slim. And to say guys are the main ones spreading stuff is inaccurate. Who are guys catching STD's from? Most likely from women and vice versa. To say one sex is the main culprit is kinda pointless.
