you have turned off all your normal family and friends so much ..... they cant stand you and now somehow I need to bring cash to fill whatever need
birthdays , holidays , flag day ............. is nothing sacred anymore?

I also imagine that their respective families would be horrified and humiliated to know what their children and siblings etc do to scrape by rather than work normal jobs or raise a family.
Hooks who have convinced themselves that their birthday is a significant event to anyone other than themselves are self absorbed or self important narcissists if they actually believe customers care about bullshit like this. Most likely it's another unimaginative marketing ploy to drum up business and hopefully guilt the male lesbians into giving them gifts or worse yet tipping them.
Much of this applies to normal people as well as hooks but it's likely more prevalent among social castaways like hooks and the MLs who have allowed themselves to be deceived into worshipping them to fulfill some kind of oddball hole in their own value systems. It's actually tragic and I feel bad for all involved in this cycle.

Or maybe friends and family were just tired of paying the cover charge and share JB's philosophy.
Given the response to date, I am going to lower my previous estimate from 17 to 9.
