I don't. Not really possible for "ME" IMO.
1. If they know what you do or find out they will not approve and be disgusted by it....bye bye
2. They know what you do and act like they are "cool" with it, but everytime you get into an argument it will bre brought up, thrown in your face, your nothing but a whore, blah, blah, blah
3. They will try and enterprise off of it. Whether that means they do nothing to contribute or very minimal or they fall into a pimping type of persona.
Now I know some ladies on here are in relationships. That is great. nothing but best wishes, but for me it cannot happen. If I truly fell in love with someone I would quit providing. Period. A HEALTHY relationship must have total trust and honesty. I really wouldn't want my man to be "cool" with what I did.
I have been married twice to no avail. I have no desire to be in relationship as of yet......and I have a senior in high school, so when he graduates next year and goes off to college, that is when I will start to re-focus on MY personal life and possibly make some changes. Until then, I personally could not be in a REAL realtionship while providing. To each his own. This is MY opinion and thoughts.

Like my gross anatomy teacher said, "normal is simply the most commonly occurring variant". I look forward to seeing answers to your excellent question.

Of course providers have relationships outside of the hobby and either theyre honest about it with their boyfriends and the guy accepts it or they hide it, kind of like alot of hobbiests ; ) Of providers I've talked to about it, it seems like the majority of them just dont mention it to guys they date.

[Soap box on]
Right. Why do so many people think the opposite of "normal" has to be "wrong"? Technically it is "abnormal", but abnormal just means that you are not in the normal set. The word itself makes no value judgment on whether that difference is good or bad, right or wrong. In some cases a particular difference may be bad, but another difference may be good. They are both abnormal by definition. And right/wrong and good/bad are so open to individual interpretation.

How do folks make open relationships work? Is there much of a difference? So your saying if a guy met a lady, and they had nearly everything in common, but she was a working girl they can't have a happy life together? Porn stars do it all the time, is there a difference? Strippers date bouncers, DJ's, etc... I worked in a strip club during my early 20s and I dated a stripper so am I abnormal? Wait, don't answer that...

I would date a provider in a heartbeat. All I'd ask is complete honesty. I suspect that I'm already setting the bar too high......
