New Provider Performance?

I never really post but since i am old as hell now {lol} i was thinkin....What happened to the good ol days when known hobbiest would help new providers improve their performance and tell and teach young new providers how to be the best and what the hobby is all about? teach her how good known providers run their business so that the business remains safe {and upscale} for the provider as well as the hobbiests?

I remember when I was once ''the newbie" my very first gentlemen told me little things about how the business should run {gentlemen should put money in envelope on table... eye contact is nice..... not be a clock watcher....etc} and how to make sure the client is happy and enjoyed his time? Now days some expect a great performance and act really disappointed then its not up to par {if you would} and say how much a lady is worth{or isnt worth} when the lady is the only one that should be able to establish that.... instead of making her worth every penny by critiquing the in's and out's of the business.

ANY TAKE ON THIS? I was just curious to what this business is turned into now days...personally.. i started as a caterpillar and now most gentlemen tell me what a beautiful sensual woman i have turned into...lol thanks to those who helped me mature in this wonderful business by the way! https://cdn-w.eccie.net/images/smilies/modern/pash.gif

Great question especially for those who have not been around this playground for long. My personal observation is that many of the guys who used to take new ladies under their wing and show them the ropes have become less active. There are a few who got burned a few times while helping, and some others who still do it but stay off the radar.

Unfortunately, with many of those guys fading into anonymity, a vacuum has been created and the characters attempting tp fill in the void are not the best of the bunch. The new guys are trying to use perceived powers to get discounted or free sessions. Also many are trying to get unsafe activities negotiated for. They dilute the quality of the content here by posting less than honest reviews or post fake reviews altogether. There is a great need out there but few guys to do what needs to be done.

Be glad you met some good mentors. Many of the new ladies only get to meet guys who want to exploit them at a point when they are very vulnerable, which for a lot of ladies happen when they are just starting out. There are still some great guys out there, willing to help under trying circumstances, as shown on another thread posted today:

I would have to agree with you Laylonie. One fairly new provider I saw when I first got started in the hobby was running into bad posts and accusations that she was spreading something bad. Obviously this distressed her and potentially hurt her business. We talked and I shared some basic business sense with her, and noticed she made some changes over the years that have improved her status. Thankfully, she is on most guy's "To-Do" list today, as well as my "see again" list. Not sure that I really had anything to do with her changes, but several of the things I suggested were implemented.

The truth of the matter though, is that the reviews are supposed to be helpful to the guys as they shop for what they like...but they CAN be helpful to the ladies as well if they take what's written, not get offended by something and learn from the session...kind of like a comment card. Almost every time I have reviewed a provider I have asked if she wanted to see a copy of the review and happily emailed it to her. The exception being a couple of BP girls that I gave no recommendations to. I haven't done that here on Eccie as I'm unsure if its a violation of rules, but the only negative I ever shared became a running joke with provider I regularly saw...and the problem never occurred again.

I dont know, I think most guys want to slam the provider instead of saying."Hey try this next time". if you do not tell her, she is going to keep screwing up, having no idea she is screwing up. JMHO

I was just thinking of this. I remember, being scared as hell a year ago going out to my first tutoring session.

This was on ASPD, but he is here as well. He pulled me out if the 'Welcome Wagon' and we chatted via email for a few days. He knew that I was scared and gave me the names of a few seasoned providers that he knew to contact for help and advice.

He made an appointment for a few days later and believe me I definitely owe him a lot. He gave me a pointers and a speech before the lesson and afterward of the 'do's and dont's/in's and out's' of the hobby world, which included how to screen, stay away from drama, how to greet a gentleman, etc. With this, he asked for nothing in return. Anytime I had a question, I'd just send an email and he would respond.

To be honest, I would have been a lost freakin puppy without him. I was so surprised that he really enjoyed being there with me, bc I know that due to me being so nervous it was my worst ever! I'm so glad that he was the one to break me in!

Another, which I'm not too sure if he still does this, was the now retired NEOTEK. He was the second person I saw, and I believe I was his third. It was almost like the blind leading the blind, but he had very good intentions and I thank him for that. He was trying to school me donations, being safe, etc.

Thank you both for being kind enough to take the time to show that you weren't just concerned about what you were getting out of it, but me, as well, as an individual!

What you suggest is good and those who want to provide good service and become successful will think about advice given and use it to improve. But, there will always be those who already know everything, believe "It's all about meeeeee," become stricken with (or bring to the table) Golden Pussy Syndrome or some other attitude deficiency which gets in the way of providing good service and even, *gasp*, having a little fun.

I'm afraid that (and all of the good providers know this) it takes a lot more than a pussy and a pulse.

OH they still teach em but I wouldn't really put it in "provider's best interest" category. Most of us old timers have just crept quietly into the background after been screwed over for the 7485 time. Besides, the trend lately says, 1 out of 50 sticks around. So we wait till we find the 1, THEN she gets the knowledge that has made fortunes out of nothing but shear determination, and skills from the companions of kings.

You make a good point Laylonie. There are still some helpful gentlemen out there. Maybe not as many as there once were, but still some good dudes. However there are also more hobbyist that want something in return for their help. And there's definitely more dudes who are unfair, manipulative, and preying on young providers.

So what's a girl to do? Talk to the helpful experienced providers, see or talk to some of the more senior members, and screen. Still it's all about trial and error, taking your lumps, and with experience you get better and wiser.

I remember seeing a provider when she was brand new. Her BBBJ had a lot of teeth, and her cowgirl was like a pogo stick stuck on jackhammer mode. So I see her again, and am prepared for pain...lol. Much to my amazement her BBBJ was exceptional and her cowgirl was fantastic. So either someone talked to her or she figured it out. So helping the providers definitely helps out all the members.

I tend to think of the old KISS phrase. Keep it simple stupid. Enjoy the time you spend with a provider, and be respectful to her. Many of us old guys are happy that these ladies want to see us, and we should always treat them right.

I treat every lady i meet with respect and kindness..Even if we dont ""click"...And i try to answer thier questions on alot of subject's if they r new...I hardly ever post..Been around long time.On old board as well..

But i help when and if i can,To the young ladys who start thier journey in this world of our's.
