Ladies/Gents: Do you drink? (nothing kinky here. no, seriously LOL)
I really don't drink that often, unless I'm out with friends or having people over, which these days is still kind of rare LOL. Then, it's usually "on" . If I'm at dinner, tho, I may have one or maybe two (and I do mean, maybe one or two....not, like, I just got pulled over and I'm going to tell the cop I only had "ahhh few beerezz ").
I'm just curious because on a recent incall visit, my very gracious hostess asked if I'd like a drink, and then proceeded to make us each one.
It was a great way to break the ice, IMO, and I really enjoyed the time we spent chatting before the fun started.
So, what are other girl's feelings about this? Do you drink at all, and/or if so, do you keep a stocked bar for guests?
Guys, is this something you'd appreciate?
Thanks!
(Disclaimer: I don't know if this would create significant added overhead for a provider, but I do think it's only fair that if someone is really picky or has expensive(er) than normal tastes, then they should probably bring their own. Also, I can imagine there may have been some bad experiences with this, and people should obviously practice good form and not show up or allow themselves to get "sloshed" at the provider's incall LOL).

Coors light IS a basic food group. Never been offered a beer in a session though. But I have asked a few ladies if they minded if I brought a few beers with me. Never been told they would rather I not.

Fridge is well stock with individual servings of everything from hard liquor (The small airline bottles are perfect) to champagne, craft brews and good old Bud. And then there's the ladies who know me well enough to dive into the open bottles of Lagavulin and Casa Dragones. Nothing as humbling as having a 120lb PYT drinking ya under the table.

I have a solid reputation for not drugging my guest's drinks.
I enjoy serving drinks before a session. Tends to break the ice and makes things go smoother. Nothing too crazy though. Just a light cocktail, wine or beer. I try to keep it fully stocked but its not always.

Do these people drink on here? Classic. But nothing wrong with a cold Bud light.

I believe that BellaFtWorth has some adult beverages available at her incall. But she knows I don't drink alcohol, so instead she offers me a Sprite of a Diet Coke. We're beyond the point where we need an ice-breaker, but I like it because my mouth is typically a little dry from mouthwash upon my arrival, and because it does provide a nice transitional period, during which we can catch up like friends who haven't see each other in a bit.

Vodka and Redbull was perfect. A friend and I had a couple dozen or 3 a few weeks ago, so it also brought back fond memories of that LOL
LOL @ "3PBG" ... Coors Light is good AND GOOD FOR YOU!!
I remember seeing an old thread about this back in the ASPD days, and it seemed like it was fairly common. Of course, a lot has changed since then (and I sure as hell ain't sayin' it was all sunshine and rainbows either ). It's just good manners to offer someone a drink, and I was glad the menu included adult beverages as well.
And, Aw, bistraight69, come on, man.....it wasn't a STRANGER. We'd been talkin' via PM for a couple weeks AT LEAST!!! ( )
Ps. Sir Lancehernot, can you put in a good word w/Ms HerrrrrrmosaFtWorth for me? See if she's got some bourbon she can hang on to and tell her I'll get by there just as soon as I can

Chilled chardonnay or a nice red wine is always appreciated! A pale ale works too! Just depends upon what the lady prefers. ;-)

I think it is an important element of a great incall. I enjoy sipping a drink for 10-15 minutes at the beginning of an appointment and idle chit-chat. Sometimes I can't have a drink, but I appreciate the offer. It usually is an indicator of it all "being about you". I think a tip can be given to cover the cost of toiletries, booze, etc that good providers offer that others do not.

I don't drink alcohol, so I don't offer alcohol. However I drink plenty of other things, coffee, water, coffee, juice, coffee, coffee and coffee.. So I always offer a coffee or water..

I'm generally a 9-5 girl, so it is very rare that anyone requests a drink. I don't drink at all, so I generally don't even think to offer an alcoholic beverage. Sodas, juices, and water are always available, though.

I drink. Depends on the situation. If my host wants to imbibe, I will. If not, not important. If I see on her profile a like, I will bring. My experience: alcohol or not- c an't say which improves or impairs the outcome. Either way, it works out. When its bad, its bad from the getgo, before any refreshment. TG I have only two bads in 8 years in DFW. No alcohol involved in both incidents.
