Seriously fellas let me hear your feed back on this BP is crap shoot for all reasons or we are held hostage paying 4 bones for some providers im not cheap but i saw some one on P411 that wanted 6 bones for an hour what is going on here. we had so many good ones here and they bolted or you could find a gem on BP some times, We are like the black plague here and it sucks. I recently tried a couple adds on BP and it was all the same bait and switch BS, She goes by jessi or jess she an over weight black woman with tatts but the person you talk to on the phone does not sound like her, which sucks is that 4 or 5 ads with different numbers are all her. If im wrong ill take the beating but i'm just venting this is the worst i've seen it in the years i've been here. let me know what you guys and gals think

I hear ya. For the most part I have mostly dropped out of the hobby based off this exact reason. Prices are high and the quality is low if it is not a B&S like you said. Mainly only looking to play while on travel based off recent experiences. We do get a few nice visiting ladies and hope they continue or even stop by more often.

I stopped BP but even the gals I used to hear from I can't get in touch with. So yeah, dead.

A large part seems to be the LE issues, but that doesn't explain it all. It was pretty dead before that.

I think part is the culture, part the lack of $ to attract quality ladies (it's a beautiful area but far from wealthy).

I have one URT friend in the state who was thinking about resurfacing but the recent LE stupidity has put that idea in deep freeze.

I have pretty much quit the hobby because of LE activity and the ever increasing cost. I realize the ladies costs have increased, but so have mine. When you stir both of these items together and mix in the unreliable factor, it all cooks down to me taking a long look at everything before I dip my toe (or other parts) back into this hobby.

At least a couple well known ladies left ABQ after the SWC situation went down. Those I personally know of, I'm willing to bet there are others.

My rate hasn't changed (definitely not 6, that's crazy), my pics are me and a lot of people seem to like me. If it's not me, just leave, no obligations. Because it is me. I just want to add that my comment above is not as a result of the post above me by Janie. I just realized it might be taken that way. No...I meant, I feel bad that the hobby choices are not as many there as they once were in New Mexico. That's all. Hope you didn't take offense Janie.

Pull out the violin and play me another sad song. Come on guys, its not really that bad, is it? Although I have fallen victim to the occasional bait/switch, I have also met some quality companions through backpage, TER, and a previous board which will go unnamed.
Leah James and Natalie are both quality companions that are in town now. Melissa Jade is among the best I have seen and she is local! The glass does not have to be half empty. This looming black cloud will not dissolve until our respective pity parties come to an end.

I know what your saying, as soon as I posted this two days later BP blows up I suck LOL, Its just been so depressing lately and it was really getting on my nerves, I just wanted to vent and get some other perspectives is all. I got my Violin out and playing it loudly LOL

No worries, Eaglefan. My comments were directed towards the collective - not singling you out. I simply feel that we (hobbyists) are a big part of why traveling companions are apprehensive about visiting ABQ. I can't tell you how many companions have told me about le issues in ABQ. When I ask where they heard this information, in almost every instance, the source is a hobbyist. The sooner we stop gossiping about it, especially to companions, the sooner we will get back to the variety of talent we once enjoyed.

Well I didn't hear anything about ABQ before I arrived. But after reading this thread, I'm cutting my trip in half. I have met some great guys since I've made it here but I just didn't think it was going to be this bad. My pics are 1,000% Me, gentleman. I have always heard good things said about ABQ. I try to ensure I don't ramble on about any gossip to any ladies. I did notice Leah and Natalie were in town both of which, from my memory, are verified ladies and good at what they do. Mel is a local but I seem to have trouble reaching her. I stopped throwing my pity party a while ago, just as always, be careful.
