Is this worthy of an alert?

I was looking for something to do and choose a BP lady. I called her from my burner phone and got a weird "blocked" message. In trying to figure it out, I also, stupidly, called her from my other phone.

As soon as her phone answered (voicemail) I hung up.

I left no message. Nothing.

I've now had two callbacks from her number. IMHO that's a really big no-no.

Now the power of eccie to adversely influence a lady's reputation is quite large. So I'm hesitant to post details here.

Also to consider, she has a number for me. If she reads here she may get pissed off and already I know she's less than discreet.

Maybe just to let this serve as a reminder to all out there that even a small, stupid mistake can have huge ramifications.

it could be as simple as she has numbers blocked (google voice, text now, etc)

or as extreme as you were a dangerous client in the past and she has you blocked, and when yuo called from your real phone she thought you were a new guy and was returning you call

My beef is not with the fact that the call was blocked, my beef is that she called back on an unidentified number without having a voicemail letting her know it's OK to call back.

Alerts are designed for actual DANGER. Assault, robbery, etc. Too many people abuse the alert board.

Unprofessional? In my opinion, yes. I won't call someone back unless they leave me a message specifically telling me that it is ok to call them back. But by no means, alert worthy.

you called a BP girl, looking for a session.. no answer, you left no message.. shortly after, she calls, you didn't answer.. now you are disturbed..

did I miss something? that is ALWAYS what happens to me, with a BP girl.. I call, no answer, she calls.. " did someone call me from this number?"

" yes, I did, about your BP ad"..

typical routine, I think.. perfectly normal.. is it not?

The lesson to be learned is not to use a phone connected to you or where a call back to it could be awkward.

True, you wanted to see her bad enough to call on your "burner". Once you got the blocked message, move on. Don't accept the challenge to see if you can find a phone that will get through to her.

There is also the possibility her phone is used for other purposes (selling shit on CL etc.). That would be poor judgment but since when is good judgment a characteristic of BP providers? She may think she lost a chance to sell her coffee table.

Not really.

Most DFW hobbyists don't use ECCIE.

Even some of the ones who do, go ahead and see BP providers without searching for alerts.

Then there's always the newness of changing pictures to another model and changing phone numbers (through Google Voice or another cheap burner phone).
