Bp girls with Facebook and instagram links on their ads

I have noticed a lot of bp girls with Facebook and instagram links on their ads but that seems fishy to me. Why would anybody posting on bp want their real world info out there seems like some kind of scam. I don't have a Facebook or Instagram so what do you think about this?

Appears backpage changed their policy 1) charge to post dating ad and 2) require to provide soical media account such as Facebook or Instagram

I have noticed this as well.. old adage if girl on phone call does not sound like girl pictured stay away until you can be for certain. Better to depend $140 taking her out to dinner than wishing you had ask her out to dinner.

One word. SESTA (okay, not really a word). Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act. It is designed to put Backpage out of business.

However, any website should be worried. Sites like ECCIE could be taken down also with this Act. Basically, any site that has any kind of trafficking on it could be held liable. Think pimps running escorts = trafficking.

Prior knowledge or any knowledge of the alleged trafficking is not required to be held liable. Only that it happens on your site and you are liable. It is a trial lawyers dream.

Google with Youtube, facebook, any dating site, Craigslist etc.

I don't know anything about posting Facebook and Instagram links on the ads, but I have been told that Instagram is where they go to steal pics for all the bait and switch ads.

Just because someone posts their facebook or instagram does not mean they are giving real world information. They may. But it is not that much or a stretch for someone to use one of the many free services to get a hobby email address just like many get hobby phones. Then use your hobby email address or your hobby phone to create/link your facebook/instagram to.

I've been browsing through those ads, and noticed that many of the FB links are invalid or they go to a hobby FB profile that doesn't give any real life info.
