Things to do in Shreveport?

Any recommendations on places to see some really good food or casino . I have never been to your city and I will make my first visit Thursday and Friday the 6th and 7th. I hear sonic drive in is really nice at least that's what Mr.Smith has stated.

Reese, I would recommend the Cub for a wonderful Steak. Crawfish Palace for a Louisiana experience of crawfish, their shrimp are wonderful too, a burger or gobler from Fat Boys, a drink at Stray Cats, and don't leave town without having a Humphrey from Counter Culture! Here's wishing you a safe and wonderful trip so you will make us a regular stop.

There used to be a Sonic in the Bass Pro...not sure if it is still there

Reese, head out to Haughton on Hwy 80 to the Crawfish Palace. Typical Louisiana dive, great atmosphere and food. If you don't want to drive out there on the corner of Benton Road and Texas Street (hwy 80) try Kim's. The Kim family moved here from New Orleans after Katrina, great food. Hope you have a wonderful tour.
