I think it’s interesting the difference you see in the United States vs. other countries when it comes to the popularity of using escort agencies. In London for example, some agencies are huge with a hundred girls or more and independent girls are much less common.

I’ve done both, worked for an agency and now on my own. I see nothing wrong with using an agency, its nice to have someone take care of booking, screening, location and only have to show up. I personally like the freedom of making my own schedule so that’s why I chose to be independent but when I was with an agency it seemed like many guys preferred independent girls to agency girls and I was wondering why that is.

What are some of your opinions on this and if you prefer one vs. the other, why so?

I prefer indy girls! I do not want anybody else to interfere with my hobby

From a client's perspective, I prefer indys because you get a chance to know a bit about their personality before you go in. Whether it's their posts, emails pm's or the phone, you get a sense of their personality. With the agency you roll the dice and may find out quickly the person you booked is somebody you don't click with.

Plus indy's give you an opportunity to build rapport between visits. After a good visit, the communication in anticipation of the follow up is something you can't get with an agency. You can talk about specific turn ons, fantasies or things you liked about the previous session that you wouldn't do through a booker.

Plus the call at the beginning, near end and as you leave kills any 'illusion of passion.'

I can see where it is appealing from a provider perspective. Scheduling is a lot more flexible and they don't have to manage the hassles of screening and enduring tire kickers.

But from a guy perspecive, I strongly prefer indies.

I think we all would prefer indy's, however, I have had much better luck with "managed" girls showing up. it definitely seems like most NCNS are the indy girls, whereas the "managed" girls always show up. Maybe it's because they have a boss telling them what to do. I am not sure. But this has been my experience.

All my ATF's have been Indy's. It gets waaayyy easier to schedule as you both become more familiar, outfit or drink requirements seem to be a breeze too. PC seems to do a great job when it comes to last minute appointments so, it can be a toss up between the two.

Maybe it has something to do with them driving on the wrong side of the road.

I prefer indy. Take out the middleman. You get a better feel for the chick with one on one emails/calls.

It's probably because I am fairly clueless about the agencies, but when I hear agency, I think of a pimp. With an indy, you can tailor the relationship, girls have more flexibility, and it's a turn-on to be with an ambitious entrepreneur. The downside is scheduling is less efficient, at least early on.

Indy!

I'm outcall only and the agency girls tend to have a "driver" (even though they've been chicks each time) a lot. It makes me feel bad for 'em sitting in the car and/or driving around for two+ hours. I did score once by asking a "driver" if she wanted to hang out inside and she said yes. She ended up getting off on watching us and then finally joining in. Haha...

So, ummm...perhaps agency now instead of indy...? :P

Yeah Neotek. More than once I have had one girl bring another and wait in my living room and watch tv while I was in the bedroom with the other girl. I never make them wait in the car. Plus am a chicken when it comes to doubles. But I do have beverages for them to enjoy while waiting....

I have seen many Agency Ladies as well as a lot of Indy's. Some of my favorite Ladies have worked for Private Connection. I think a lot of the Ladies seem to try both sides of the street and stay with the one that fits best.

I'm a bit jaded when it comes to agencies; nothing but bad experiences AND most of the news stories about men being outted for using Providers are usally the result of an agency bust. I prefer independents.
