trumps campaign promises
I wasn't going to post but I have some time to kill before my next leg.
I wanted to make a list of all of Trumps election promises.
Mass deportation of the 11 million illegals
60% to 100% tariffs on Chinese imports and
10% to 20% on all other imports
No taxes on social security, tips and overtime
Cut corporate taxes to 15%
lower the price of gas, drill baby drill
Improve the economy
What else might I missing??

The "drill baby drill" one is hilarious. No POTUS has ever allowed more drilling than Biden has.
It will also be fun when trump's army of incels finally realize who pays the tariffs on imported goods.

You do know he closed down the Keystone XL immediately after taking office, and stopped export of domestic Natural Gas, not to mention cutting leases, or trying to stop them altogether.
Do your research for fucks sake.
Besides, neither of you voted for him, why are you concerned about it now, YOU LOST, now suffer the consequences of pissing the country off.

Lol. You sound angry. But yeah, about that research...
Average monthly U.S. crude oil production established a monthly record high in December 2023 at more than 13.3 million b/d.

Why?
Because Evehicles have been rejected by the buyers.

Thread's not about Biden or Keystone XL.
I was just pointing out how absurd the "drill baby drill" promise is from the trump campaign. U.S. oil production is currently already at record levels.
He'd have to stop drilling so much to get it back to where he had it.

Bullshit, you thread is based on lies, Key XL was proof amongst others, that Biden is not oil friendly, closing XL assured his buddy Warren Buffet would make millions hauling oil by train, and financial kick back, thats why Bidumb did it, cronyism, you know.
American industry doesn't stop because the Goverment says so, if Bidumbs energy policy had went as planned we'd by buying electric cars en masse by now, but the AMERICAN ECONOMY said no to killing big oil.
Hence, domestic oil producers invested more into drilling and production to increase supplies at a time the oil prices were at an all time high.
You know, 5 dollar a gallon gas under BIDUMB a few years ago, remember that, and 1.89 a gallon under TRUMP?

Lol. And if you think the POTUS controls the gas prices, there's really no reason to continue this conversation. That's an entirely false premise.
trump's promise to "drill baby drill" will simply be a continuation of Biden's policy. U.S. oil production is currently at an all-time high. Period.

Yet another straw-man argument by tommy!
Nobody thinks the POTUS "controls" the price of gas. But his policies do CONTRIBUTE to it.
Otherwise why did Biden drain our Strategic Petroleum Reserve during the run-up to the 2022 mid-term elections?

I had a 30 minute convo today with 2 people who do think the president sets gas prices. They remember those stickers.
So there goes that line of attack.
Guess we gotta get ready for some new stickers

My neighbor and his wife. Had them over for tacos and tequila.
He's not Tommy. Maybe she is. Doubt it.
