I'm just curious, how many times do the mods have to tell you board members NOT to post a link with REAL NAMES in it? And I'm not referring to the cops, lawyers or the former owners. You read that article, don't tell me you didn't realize there was a real name in there.

Sometimes I truly worry about some of y'all.

Ms Elena, apparently there has been a board policy change that as long as current board members aren't named its permissible. . But then it may have changed back. I'm pretty sure I don't know where it stands now. But I read more info in that article than I feel comfortable knowing.

After several recent discussions in the staff area the decision was made by the owner to not allow outing of not only members, but also non-members. Who is to say the non-member doesn't become a member at some point.

Other sites can track incoming traffic, that is the "referrer" link in an http header that gets sent to the linked site from your browser, creating a logical relationship between the content of the link and this site. A smart webmaster or site administrator can easily see where that traffic is coming from, drawing attention to this site that me not be ideal. I think it's a good policy to prohibit links to rw people regardless of whether they might become a member.
