Missed my flight because security check points were closed for the night

Hello Y'all,

I had a flight to catch for Vegas at 11PM tonight. But, I got a notification at 7pm that my flight got delayed to 12am and then to 1am. I took the opportunity to relax for some more time. I reached the airport at midnight (didn't have bags to check) for the 1am only to realize that the security check points in Terminal E close at 11.30pm and re-open again at 3.30am.

My fault that I should have enquired about it, completely slipped through my mind. Anyway, wanted to put it out so that you don't end up in the same situation.

That sucks. As long as flights are still going, security needs to be there.

agree.. I would not think it's my fault, security should have been open.. Hell, couldn't someone be available to wand a single straggler at midnight?
