Olivia H, I think this may be a little bit of what you were trying to convey. Lux. Daphne, don't know what to say about your opinion on the matter but I do not agree with your sentiments on the matter. Not being rude, just my opinion.

And although she said it along time ago, Dr. Jocelyn Elders and Pastor Lia Claire Scholl who authored "I heart Sex Workers" are the astute women out there who are our voice of reason in an unreasonable, so called United States of America.

I will go to dinner with any mod who closes the WHORE! threads. I'm even too sick of it to go paste the links to my comments where I address the reason I chose to use the word "Whore" to describe my situation. It seems to be supported by Cinderbella's quote.

But I'm just too sick of it right now...maybe when I feel better.

I agree with you 100% Its a shame. But the person who made the thread is to Blame, as He/She is a long time trolling member of this board. After all what kind of civilian woman asks that question? I guess the only way you can logically ask if a whore likes being called a whore, is to not be a "Whore" yourself. Because I have never called myself a whore, I call myself a "provider" "courtesan" "escort" "companion". But I guess some women go around patting themselves on the back saying "good whore" and if they do it explains a lot else.

The majority of women whom are members of this board know that they are above the derogatory statements that are constantly made against women and do not participate what-so-ever. (I must say Houston Board seems to be the main culprit for slanderous conversations more than any other sub-board)

Then there are the few intelligent women whom think they can handle the misogynists and moralists, but you will be out numbered EVERY time trust me.

Then there are the women who agree with the abuse, and encourage it.

Then there are all the people who think its funny.

So ultimately it will always be the few against the many, especially on the internet majority of people are going to agree with negativity before positivity. Its a battle that will never be won. Especially when the misogynists and moralists have 10 different handle they use to get their points across.
