The smartphone app has a "slot machine" function where it will spit out random choices of neighborhood (for the city you happen to be in), cuisine/style of food, and price and then randomly choose a restaurant meeting all those criteria. It's fun to play with, and so far (experimenting with the app here in Memphis) coughs up some interesting choices. You can also lock one or more of the reels of the "slot machine" if you want to restrict the results to a particular neighborhood, cuisine, or price point.
I know they have an app for Android (I've got that), I'm pretty sure they have one for Blackberry (I looked for the Android one after seeing the app "demoed" in a Blackberry commercial), and I'd be shocked if they didn't have one for iPhone. If you're interested in it, you should be covered.
If you don't have a smartphone, there's a link at the urbanspoon.com website to a widget that works the same way.
