Albuquerque is actually a great place! I just spent 15 months in the panhandle, and would go over often. Lots of SW north of the base, some hot, like her, most not!)

If you do go, check out Vernon's H!dden V@lley Ste@khouse. It is set up like a old speak-easy (they e-mail you a password to use to get in.) A bit pricey, but good steak. I have seen cast from Breaking Bad there, as well as others (they mention to not bother guests as they let you in.) I have taken sb's there.

Also, another neat place to take em was up in Cimarron to the St James Hotel. Built in the 1870s, been on a few ghost hunter shows (sb's love it), and has an excellent restaurant.
