GOBC Pledge Class Induction 2015.

Day One:

The GOBC recently had our annual instalation of officers, Awards Dinner and the induction of the 2015 Pledge Class.
As might be expected, it was a rousing good time with many planned and spontaneous activities.
The first planned activity was our annual GOBC Golf Tournament.
All entrants brought our favorite caddies, and then we had them switching bags all day...
When we ran out of holes, we retired to the 19th where we discussed who we would let pledge to be a 2015 inductee.
Also:
GOBC Chapters were awarded to Rochester and Syracuse.
The fucks from Pittsburgh were late in getting their paperwork in...
which is typical.
We also discussed chapters for Albany/Hudson Valley and Vermont, and Vermont was clearly ahead...
but fell just short.

Day Two:

Possible inductees were told in advance that they would find out if they qualified to pledge on this date.
They were instructed to stop at "The Mighty Taco", eat a Mighty Pack and then invade Madames and fuck with that fat drunck cunt Tracy behind the bar. Let's just say Mission Accomplished as they all had a fart party and stunk up the joint....
And as they walked out the door, they carried on and on about how much better
Pharaoh's IS and HOW they should get back there ASAP.
Fuckin Pledge Class.

So the pledge class then met us at Pharaoh's and the REAL pledging began.
The GOBC arranged for a sweet assortment of Guest Speakers (complete list of Guest Speakers can be found on GOBC dot com)...
AND...All of our FAVORITE dancers had been alerted in the weeks before so it was non stop action.
Pledges kept the GOBC members and our guests well supplied with refreshments... and our usual antics filled the next few hours....
All good things must begin to come to an end though, and we boarded the hobby limos to the posh local hobby hotel where we had rented out all the suites.
The pledges then brought in their required UTR's (Three per Pledge) and the after party commenced as the Pledges were dismissed for the night... and sent to Coca Cola Field to throw popcorn on everyone with a pornstache.
Membership does have it's privileges, so we will have to FLASH FORWARD to Day 3 for the rest of you.

Day 3:

Breakfast in Bed to start the day for all GOBC members.
And then after BIB.... we all went out to eat food.... and discuss which pledges would be invited to be inducted at our installation dinner later that night. After much deliberation, we decided on our "Class of 2015".
We (GOBC members and officers, National Guest Speakers, Local Guest Speakers and finally the Pledges) were ushered into our private dining room where we started with a case of Cristal and an assortment of Oysters, Littlenecks,
Gulf Shrimp and Crabcake appetizers. No Krill at this party... but more importantly... no krill eaters.
It was time to be seated and the final surprise of the Installation Weekend was about to appear....

Yes...... It had been a long time coming.
It took a LOT of planning, some creative Hobby Jet flight plans and yes... some very
discreet conversations... but in the end, it took very little cajoling to convince this years "Guest Inductor" to return to Buffalo, if only for a weekend.
I'm not at liberty to reveal her name, but she sure can LIGHT up a room.
(No Pledges were harmed as all Pledges were issued Sunglasses).
ALL of us were glad to welcome her back.... and made plans to... well... that is another FLASH FORWARD story.

Pledges were tatooed with the GOBC logo. Laughs were had all around about one of those that didn't make this years cut...
Shhhhh.....
The Guest Speakers stripped and enticed us to join them in the jacuzzi's.... Our Guest Inductor shone brightly on the
activities that continued into the wee hours...
