GFE - instead of hijacking review threads
What is your definition of GFE?
Quite frankly, I am tired of people TELLING me how I should think or WHAT my opinion SHOULD be. Especially in review threads. I don't think that is the place for such a debate. We are all grown men here (I hope), and ladies also. I would think that we would all have the common decency to know better.
NOW.... normally, I am in agreement with most, that GFE = BBBJ and DFK. Just because 1 of those ingredients is missing, does not necessarily mean TO ME that she is not still GFE. Sometimes a lady is so good at all of the other things she does, that I am willing to overlook CBJ or no DFK (but not both usually). YES, you may have a different idea about this, but I am not going to say you are wrong. This is all a matter of perspective. Everyone has their own idea what GFE is. YMMV
PUHHHHHLEASE people, stop trying to ram your ideas of what is FACT down other peoples throats. It is not welcome!
Just to throw this out there for thought. I have been out on dates and never even got any BJ or DFK or FS of any kind and still called it a GFE. We just had a really fun and wonderful time. go figure?
Thoughts please.

Agree completely....We all need to be objective and realize our own interests. I also would argue that GFE can even just be the mood that the lady conveys throughout the meeting. So great relaxed mood with DFK but CBJ is fine by me. I think we all need to understand and TRUST that when a reviewer says GFE that 1) it was GFE for them and 2) they really believe that. Interpret what he says for what you want, but don't call him on it.

I don't think I use the term GFE any more unless it is within the escorts.com review framework. You're forced to select something there I think.
GFE means something to me. In a thread on aspd I figured out that my definition isn't the same as everyone's.
It means to me how I feel about the experience, not whether the requisite activities got checked off a list.
I agree that the review threads are not the place for esoteric discussions that are not directly related to the provider. The Men's Lounge or this forum is better for theory.

To me GFE would be an experience where the provider did not rush through the process and showed sensuality in such a way that would be like she actually cared about you during the encounter. Kissing and BBBJ doesn't necesarily mean to me GFE when the rest is rushed.

In a GFE, I'm looking for at least the illusion of an eagerness to please me and to be pleased by me without a lot of restrictions. DFK is imperative.

to me, the main ingredient that make up GFE are DFK. Without DFK, there can be no GFE....

Meh I tend to be more on the side of GFE being an environmental thing. A provider in crappy motel and a bad attitude might give you DFK and BBBJ, but I wouldn't call that GFE.
Though..I have had some girlfriends with attitudes that were worthy of a crappy motel...anyways moving on...GFE for me is all about personality. If I can come away from a meeting feeling like I had a great time and made a real connection with a woman, that's all I need.
But since we all come to this with differing "needs" I accept flexibility with the term. I generally read a review and think GFE = nice girl. That's where my interpretation stops. It's easy to get all Justice Scalia on this and try to stick to the exact verbiage - but human relationships and intimacy are not something that I think can be discussed categorically with much ease.

Gentlemen, I think some of you may be missing the point of this thread I don't think we are looking for or need to know what your requirements are for you to consider a date GFE. What we are looking for is acceptance of the generic value of the term and acknowledgment it means something different to each and every one of us.

GP,
I agree with you to a point. The problem that arises is when posting a review as GFE there is a certain universal understanding of the term and that generally includes DFK and BJ (usually BBJ). Each of us has a "minimum standard", if you will, for what the term means. And, yes, each of us has a different generic value. The question now becomes how do we quantify and describe a GFE experience so that all understand what it means to each individual. When you review and say GFE was provided it most likely will mean something different than when I say say GFE was provided.

Ahhhhhh, but there is no universal understanding, otherwise we would not be having this discussion over and over again.
That is why I propose that whenever anyone posts a review and uses the term GFE, that everyone accept it as HIS version of what GFE means to HIM!
Since everyone has different values, I suggest each and every one of us read the rest of his review completely and then determine for yourself if you feel it was what YOU consider GFE. But do NOT call him out on it and debate what he thinks GFE is versus what YOU think it is. Just accept it. The world would then be a much kinder and gentler place

I can agree with that.
Everyone has his own minimum requirement for GFE, I suppose it really depends on the situation.
I used to think CBJ eliminated it from GFE, now I've learned with the right lady it works.
I think Bored has it right.

More to the your point a reviewer does not want to be challanged on what he posted.
Questions, clarifications, "atta boy's" and someone offering additional information seem fine.
The point of a review is to provide information; an overall sense of the meeting, idea of available activities (generally the abbreviations in the pubic section suffice for me), and idea of donation.

I'd go along with that. However, (there's always an however) the reviewer should list activities and, as Niktu said, provide good useable info so the next person isn't surprised something isn't available. While GFE for you may not include DFK, it certainly does for me.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girlfriend_experience[/ame]
Adult service
The "girlfriend experience" generally involves more personal interaction than a traditional call girl or escort offers. There is a focus on not just completing a sexual act, but also having more of an experience. Often sessions last longer and are "no rush," which means the call girl spends the full advertised time rather than rushing out after a climax. Common activities usually offered by GFE escorts include kissing[2] and/or french kissing, cuddling[2] and foreplay. By contrast, non-GFE prostitutes typically refrain from kissing because they consider it more emotionally intimate than sexual intercourse without kissing.[citation needed] A call girl advertising the provision of a "girlfriend experience" is implying that she provides deep french kissing (DFK), "full service" (intercourse) usually with protection, and fellatio and cunnilingus, both with or without protection.[1] Advertising a "girlfriend experience" is sometimes used by call girls to promote business.
A corresponding term (used to describe a client who acts as a lover instead of merely a participant in a commercial transaction) is "BFE" or "boyfriend experience."

Just stirring the pot, to see what comes out of the woodwork.
"The "girlfriend experience" generally involves more personal interaction than a traditional call girl or escort offers. There is a focus on not just completing a sexual act, but also having more of an experience."
Above is the best line. After that it is wishy-washy.
But then my dictionary under abbreviations has
GFE = government-furnished-equipment
