The VA has been broken for some time. Even before Obama so he is not to blame for the situation but he is to blame for trying to avoid not having done something. When a senator Obama was on the committee that oversaw the VA hospitals. He was informed about problems according to minutes of meetings but I guess he just voted "present". Now they are playing the spin the public. I grind my teeth when I hear Jay Carney say that "President Obama is more angry than anyone else...". Maybe the families of the dead and abused are a little more angry than this charlatan. Obama also said that he would look into it and that it should not have happened. The most powerful man in the world (after Putin) cannot find it in himself to pick up a phone and tell someone to stop doing what they have been doing or to start doing their job? What is this "look into it" shit?

People decided that some people could not be saved or it would cost too much to save them. They allowed them to die. Those people should be exposed and brought up on charges of manslaughter before the relatives rake them through the civil courts. Maybe they were only following orders. Something is truly wrong when the people hired to care for our veterans don't think it is worth their time to do just that. We have people worried about convicts, murderers, and illegals but not about our veterans. Some people have more compassion that a vicious murderer dies painlessly than a veteran gets treatment for cancer.

This is not partisan, this is a disgrace.
