I would be surprised if a lot of news sources don't exit X if it is just going to become the main source of goofball propaganda for the MAGA right wing. And don't forget about the subsequent exits of celebrities with a gazillion followers as well. They'll want nothing to do with that MAGA X bullshit.

X, formerly twitter is not a news outlet. They are not journalists and have no code of journalistic ethics or integrity.

They can’t even follow their own rules and policies. Elon Musk breaks them all the time.

Quite serious. There are good and ethical journalists and journalistic organizations. Elon Musk and X / Twitter is neither.

Pretty much the only news source out there who allows diverse opinions. If you’re left or right and don’t want to hear the other side of a story then X isn’t for you. If you’re a free thinker who wants to hear differing views then it’s the place to be.

It is an opinion site, just like MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS only they all claim to be news outlets with real journalists.

As with most news organizations you must be cognizant of the difference between Opinions / Editorials and actual news.

Most news organizations have slanted viewpoints when deciding on which stories to cover and which to ignore. You also have to take into account the sources that news organizations sometimes use.

X has no credibility because like all social media platforms they give any and all nut jobs a platform for their own personal agendas and profits. All with out the slightest hint of journalism and ethics.

As always each person has to make up their own minds. My problem with this argument is calling any social media platform or even late night television or podcasts journalistic outlets. They are speech outlets but not journalistic outlets.

Uncivil discussions about the news
Harassment of journalists
News organizations or personalities being banned
