Facebook got rid of over 2 BILLION fake accounts over the first 3 months of this quarter.

This tells me that Facebook is still "vulnerable" to "election interference". In fact it's a feature. FB depends on revenue from advertisers. Advertisers require human eyeballs on their ads. FB depends on ads for revenue and doesn't give a flying fuck whether they are political ads and who funds them. Oh sure, they put in safeguards but they are throwing bullshit ads to my account no matter how many times I click the "Not Interested" or "SPAM" option.

Also, here's supposedly the paltry amount russians spent on FB ads. My guess is that this number doesn't hold up to scrutiny as to what "Russians" and "political interfering" means either.

russian attempts at influencing american opinion has been something that has gone on for a long time

the piddling amount russia spent on line had no effect

the only real thing that occurred in 2016 of any consequence was the exposure of hellary's and the dnc's emails that showed their lies, racism and collusion with "journalists"

of course we all knew those things, but to have specifics in print in black and white was quite embarrasing and changed narratives

but was russia involved in that?

the overblown focus on the russian interference narrative was merely part of the dimocrats lies in trying to get rid or trump

I remember that either twitter, google or FB said at a Congressional hearing that that's all the Russians spent on their platform. Can't find a link about the hearing to pin which company's rep said it.

$10K is the kinda number a company bureaucrat would say when they don't have any proof and don't want to spend time with further investigation.
