San Francisco to no longer Prosecute Prostitution!
https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/...SxplEyrV14JeP8
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – San Francisco literally has a “poop patrol” service that requires city workers to clean up the streets after people use them as their personal bathrooms.
And after their latest announcement, it appears as city leaders are only emboldening people to continue relieving themselves wherever they want.
And that’s not the only criminal behavior they’ll be turning a blind eye to.
San Francisco’s newly elected district attorney says his new list of infractions that will not be prosecuted is an attempt at “decriminalizing poverty and homelessness,” and those crimes include public urination and prostitution.

This is awesome, but you also have to wonder just how long it will last.
Hopefully Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer's quote "...What we start here, the nation follows..." comes to fruition. Although I am not totally on board with her leading a "Fuck the POA" (police officer's association) chant.

Although DA's may choose to not prosecute some crimes I would expect Police Officers to still enforce the laws they took an oath to uphold.
There is a difference between laws and politics.
If politicians disagree with the law they should be a force for change.
Another issue to consider is that these "shows" that are put on for public entertainment are focused on prosecution of the homeless community. I highly doubt we will see the lack of prosecution across the board.
But feel free to test it out.

Another sanctuary city category!
Bang Cock on the west coast!
I look for some sort of adult sex resort industry popping up out there next.
Imagine a porn-video industry where you pay to have a porn video bult around you having a sex adventure with a celebrity look-alike. Porn filming is legal in Cali already. With this new permissiveness, I would think any grey areas would fade even further.

I am very encouraged by them deciding not to prosecute prostitution, which was not a crime in the United states for many years.

Police are unlikely to waste time arresting people the District Attorney is unwilling to prosecute.

so you're ready to move back to California, and apologize for all the stuff you said?

right. why add that on to their already overwhelmed agenda? besides that Police have a lot of discretion anyway.

Not move there, but my grandson still goes to Stanford, so I might visit San Fran at the same time I go to see him.
I actually really like San Fran in spite of the gays and the shit and the homeless and the ridiculous prices. In fact, some of the homeless there can be rather entertaining if you are out in a public place where they can't really be too aggressive.
I don't stay out too late, though.

"If they have a Father's Weekend" you might be able to dual hook-up with non-provider co-eds.
OK, so that is a Penthouse Letters fantasy.

So good to know. Now that's progress people! Gotta visit San Fran some time then. Also prostitution has been present since forever, it dates back to hundreds of years already and is ancient news. Why bother.

finally, they need to concentrate on real crimes not on consenting adults engaging in private activities.
