What's your favorite charity and why?

Many of us have a favorite charity we support. I asked my friend Seeking ~P because I know she always thinks of others. I thought the first listed in this thread should be hers. Here is her favorite charity:

The Innocence Project because they clear innocent people to get out of prison w/DNA testing etc when they've been wrongly accused.

Damn I don’t know how that charity above could be better.

I wonder though how much money was wasted on dna test that proved they weren’t innocent. I’m sure ever so often people would attempt to waste resources. They know they aren’t going anywhere for a moment so it’s worth a shot. Hmmm

I like the wounded warrior project. It’s a military site that helps vets with many programs and assistance.

My own favorite charity is the Humane Society that rescues abandoned or lost pets and find good homes for many of them.

I agree with all the above foundations. I also like and is very personal to me The International Anti- Poaching Foundation. I fell in love with Africia she has my heart.
