There was another thread when I first got here and signed up that said it was pronounced ECK-EEE. Most times I've spoken with Providers about it, that's how all of them have pronounced it.

I call it E-C although everyone I know calls it ECK-EEE but that sounds gross to me. Like something eeky.

I know "icky" and I know "yucky" (thanks to Oscar the Grouch) but I don't know "eeky." Is it a regional thing or just imaginative spelling?

I use to have salt water aquariums and once in a while a fish would get Ich so when I first logged onto this site I always just called it Ichy.

The best I can come up with is to say easy with a very thick Hispanic accent!

I'm going with that being I speak fluent Spanish too.
