Food Stamps at Fast Food Restaurants?

What the %%#$$^^^$$^ is this world coming too??? If there is any government official that is gonna stand by and let this happen for real????? U think we have had bombings in this country???? Just wait till a hard working, military family, that has to sit and watch there loved ones be treated in a 10 man hospital room because we don't have the funds to treat the men and women that serve this country properly due to some broke ass bitch that doesn't want to get a job because its easier to let us taxpayers buy them mcds gets wind of this ...... I wish they would!!!!!!!!! { They are already to lazy to get a job now what to lazy to cook??? Y its not like u work.....Or better yet is this a ploy that our {WONDERFUL} president wants to do some the families have had clogged arteries and us tax payers can pay for that too with free health care!!!!!!! and then what instead of giving 500 a month we r gonna give 5,000 because i bust my ass to pay bills and i cant eat out!!!!! And i am ashamed to say i was born and raised in ky!!!!! GET A JOB!!!!

Let me get this right- you are on a whore board telling "other" people to get a job- you are doing something that is "illegal" in all 50 states and that you charge 150 hr for your services which is 20 times the minimum wage and ou are complaining? How are you busting your ass when you are on here doing something "illegal"? I am pretty sure there are a lot of women who are struggling, but the last thing they want to do is become an "escort" for either religious or ethical reasons. This would be no different if I sold "illegal" medicine and rant how bad my times are- please!!! This may actually surprise you.

There are actually needy,starving, homeless people in this country, people living in homeless shelters, ever lived in one, it sucks, there are single mothers working a low end job to support her family, and may actually need the food stamps. So what, if a single parent who just worked their low paying job all day or all night, wants to feed their kids some fast food.

Sure there are people who do not need food stamps, but there are many many more who need the services the government provides. Im sure the restuarants will not be complaining and happily take the food stamps. I know gas stations who take food stamps.

I can't speak for parents, since I don't have kids, however, there are alot of woman out there, bashing us every day, working their job, or just not able to work at all. Doing the best they can. Let them feed their kids burger king after a long day at work.

I would much prefer if folks could only buy fresh, uncooked food with SNAP benefits (as they are now called). No processed foods, no junk food, etc. However, the reality is that many who use these cards have one or even two part time jobs and often have neither the time, nor the facilities to buy and prepare fresh meats and vegetables. And, sadly, high calorie nutritionally impaired foods are much cheaper in our society, so they go further when the only goal is to fill up the family. So I don't have that big a big problem with someone who qualifies for these benefits being able to pick up a box with six pieces of chicken on the way home. Yes, I'd rather them buy a fresh chicken, some potatoes, and a green vegetable and make a home cooked meal, but you and I don't do that much anymore because of time constraints, so it's not surprising that the working poor can't do it either.
