The hobby sure has changed!

I first got into the bobby a little over ten years ago and have loved every minute of it. I recently made a return from a five year lay off and have found this great thing of ours has changed in many respects. Some of the changes have been great and some not so great.

One of the things that I have noticed is that it seems many ladies these days do not go all out prier to a date. I remember a time when you would schedule a date and the provider would be bressed to the nines and have her hair and makeup done and just look amazing, kinda like you are going on a date. They would have their incalls all set up with nice music playing in the background and candles lit and offer you a drink and you could sit and talk for a bit to get to know one another before other activities would start.

I have seen a good number of ladies since I came back a few months ago and many of them, not all, don't seem to take the same attention to detail as the ladies did in the past. I have had appointments where the lady was dressed and made up very beautiful and had an incall set up as well. I have also had dates where the lady will ask you to meet her at a notel and get a room for an hour or so wearing whatever was on top of the clothes pile that morning with little to no makeup and hair pulled back and not styled. I have also had some dates where the lady had a hotel room but also made the effort to create a nice relazing atmosphere for thor guest.

Is it just me or are many of the ladies not really putting their best foot forward to create that allusion of a real date. I would like to hear from the ladies as well on this subject.

I think the hobby with regard to the advent of escort boards (and media exposure) has changed things tremendously over the years. It is not just the women that I am seeing that have changed but the men as well. They are a whole different breed now.

spunky you say you were gone for five years. Are you paying the about the same rates that you were five years ago? I think what two Franklins bought five years ago won't buy the same level of service today.

You got that right...!!
The dumb thing is that not only have the service levels become more itemized for the same price...(ie: GFE Lite) the real change is the marketing.
Just in the last 3 years, the Internet boards have driven prices up over 2X.

It looks like there is more action out there...and maybe that is true.
If so, the prices should have dropped.
Its is just easier to find using the Internet...even if is it overpriced.

I have been in the hobby for many years and have noted that many of the women just dont appreciate the need to look their very best in "all ways". To me it is crazy posting pics that are professional and hot and then when you meet, the gal looks nothing like those pics and tells you she didnt have time to "prepare". Many gals seem to feel that it is all about "performance" and most of them are not up to high skill levels in that area either.

Nothing chaps my ass more than being greeted by a provider with wet hair and no makeup. I mean if thats what I wanted, Ill just get busy with the Mrs. in the morning for FREE!!! I have walked out on sessions with just the opening of the door. Glamour shots also piss me off. I once visited a well known provider from Dallas who was in HOuston. She looked hot especially with the outfit and heels she was showcased in. I asked that she look exactly like the pic. What did I see upon arrival? Wet nappy hair, an acne infested face, pale skin, a wife beater, mom shorts, and bare feet. I walked away. I almost put out a bait and switch alert on her but how could I if it was actually her in the pic.

There also has been a disturbing trend in the hobby lately. Providers reluctant to provide BLS even though they provide BBBJ. For years that was never an issue but that crap has happen to me twice in my last 4 experiences. THAT MAKES NO SENSE!!!!

Well I cannot imagine a lady answering the door with wet hair, or non-styled hair, no makeup, and in plain clothes...I personally think that is completely unprofessional. Now of course if the lady's pictures on her website are plain, then you can't really get upset about it. However, if you are going to promote yourself a certain way ie: hair & makeup done, nice clothes, heels, then that is how one should look for a bloke when he arrives. I also feel providers should have new photo shoots done at least every 3 months....but that's just me

As a provider, I am always open to clothing/hair/makeup requests, should someone request that I look as if I just got out of the shower, or wear plain clothes, then I would oblige him, but I have yet to ever have such a request.

Valerie, you are the epitome of what a provider should be doing from your pics to your pride in looking your vey best for your sessions and really appreciating the clients perspective. I think you need to run a training program for many of the gals. What junglemonkey states about wet hair, no makeup etc etc etc is so true. Fortunately there are other gals in Houston, who do prepare and do take a lot of pride in their session appearance. I personally dont have to have the gal looking exactly like her showcase photo shoot pic as long as I requested the variation or was informed about it ahead of time.

We are all individuals who look at things from different perspectives.

Some have their likes and dislikes as well as preferences, and expectations...but above all, they're all different and it's hard for the ladies to try and please everyone. However I do agree that at least SOME effort needs to be put forward.

Personally, I'm very simple when it comes to what I like. I appreciate when a lady dresses herself in lingerie and if that makes her feel sexy, then I will go out of my way to acknowledge her. Honestly though...I could do without the lingerie. Nothing is sexier to me, than to see a woman dressed as if she were getting ready to go to bed, or take a nap. Sexy panties and a t-shirt will get me aroused for her...every time. Throw in some booty socks and I am mush. LOL!!!

Make up... just a little something to accent her beautiful eyes. That's all.

What really drives me insane is the way a woman smells (OMG). I understand that a lot of the guys are married or have SO's they need to dodge, but some of us are single and don't mind (actually prefer) a lady to rub herself down with her favorite lotion or maybe give herself a little dab of her perfume. One of my favorite things to do is to come up behind her and smell her hair while I nuzzle the back of her neck. The aroma swells me up behind the zipper something fierce.



What I have noticed in the way of lets say "wet hair"..."no makeup" and just generally being unprepared, is the agency girls. I look at it as if to say "well, at least she took a shower after the last guy."

On several occasions I have visited independent providers who answered the door in jeans and a t-shirt. To me, tight jeans that accent her ass and legs... are sexy! I don't mind!! A sexy woman doesn't need special clothes or lingerie to be sexy...especially for me.

Now here's the sticky part...

I have a self imposed rate limit that I very rarely go above. If I do check out the greener grass on the other side of the fence, then yes, I may have some expectations. In a nutshell...she better be a hum dinger in preparation and service level. Anything less, is unacceptable.

As far as rates... I remember what an hour rate at Escape, Sweet 8 and GFEHouston used to be, and I don't pay very much over that now and sometimes even less. So to me, it is an insignificant difference. We're talking...7-8 years ago?

But then...that's just me. I guess maybe I'm just...different.

I dont mind wet hair if she greets me in the nude in high heels with at least some sexy eyemakeup and a yummy aroma. That way, clothing is a non issue as well as the wet hair.

If you see Agency girls it's best too see them in the morning when there fresh and made up, also talk to the agency manager and make sure they know you want the provider dolled up.
I thought Johnny Numbers only liked what there starfish looked like.
