Restaurants between downtown and the casino's

I'm in KC and even though I used to live up north years ago this area seems like a foreign land. Can anybody point me in the direction of some new and local restaurants this way?? I mean a girl does tend to work up an appetite 🙃

Barrio just opened in Briarcliff Village. Their first spot in Brookside is good.

Trezo Mare (Italian)

I left Liberty and Zona restaurants off.

No wonder my fridge at home is mostly empty.
