Avatars are the small graphics that are displayed under everyone's username whenever you post. Avatars are a fun part of any message board. For some people, it is an extension of their personality, for other's, it is a message or statement. Everyone has their own unique preferences and reasons behind it. Sometimes it is fun to let others pick your avatar based on how they perceive you.
This thread is for people to post pics they think would make good avatars for themselves or others. There are many people on this site who are very good with "Photoshopping" pics. If we are nice to them, maybe they can do special requests.
Please do not use this as an opportunity to take cheap shots at people you may not like. Not everyone may share your sense of humor. I have found this out the hard way MANY times, LOL. The spirit of this thread is to have fun.
Remember, the image standards for the board remain in full effect.

The maximum size of the custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). It appears that the board will automatically re-size images as well. You can even use animated GIF's, but remember, make sure they are smaller than the allowed size, otherwise the server will re-size them and strip out the animation.
Anyone having trouble posting pics, just remember to "copy" the "link" to the image from your browser. This is usually accomplished by right clicking directly on an image and finding the "copy". Every web browser is slightly different. Then hit the
above your post. A box will open and then you can "paste" the image location in it. That's all there is to it.
