Selfies are NOT better than pro pics.

I keep seeing the...assertion that pics taken through a KEYHOLE are somehow better than pics taken through lenses of real cameras. That. Is. Asinine. That, and selfies 'show more', when truthfully, they show LESS.

Selfies, by pure nature, hide more, because they are taken at particular angles in relation to the liking of the observer (the cell phone owner and snapper), at arm's length or less.

Pro pics are done at angles NOT related to the perspective of the subject. The 'observer' would be anyone who looks at the pic, with his/her perspective being relatively 'normal' (not arm's length away).

People who take selfies do so because they are [possibly] insecure about their bodies, and don't want REAL eyes to observe them from a normal perspective. Or, they just don't want to pay for a photo shoot. Real cameras, by design, get more detail, at the proper angles (usually). With a 77mm lens (or whatever size), they SHOULD get more detail. They're supposed to. A PINHOLE camera lens (i.e. cell phone) creates a degree of the 'fish eye' effect, which DISTORTS the way the body looks.

Forgive me for this thread, but...I've had enough of 'selfie vs pro' when it comes to pics. If cell phone cameras were better than real cameras, CELL PHONES WOULD COST MORE. If you think cell phone pics are better, go print one of the pics (8x10 or larger), and then come back and tell me that. Then make the comparison to a pic from a true camera.

Women who are confident in their hotness will go to a pro to have pics done.

If you don't believe this statement, right now, go look at the showcases. Make a note of which ones are pro based compared to selfie based. The hotter chicks have the pros doing their shoots. I'm just saying.

So, for crying out loud, please knock it off with this nonsense about selfies being better than pro.

Most ladies cannot afford the cost, and time, to have professional photos done on a regular basis. Plus, as nice as some professional may be the ladies are often critized for things not being visible and Photoshopping.

If my body was my source of income, I'd incorporate more gym time in my routine. As a guy, I want to look better just for GP. I couldn't imagine how great I would try to make myself look if someone was to consider spending money on me for it.

Then again, maybe I'm looking at it completely wrong.

I have to agree. In the history of selfies there has never been one taken that is any good. EVER. If you cannot afford a pro have a friend take some but please never bombard the world with a selfie.

Not all gents like pro photos. Not all gents like selfies. It is good to have both. As far as hitting the gym, I go everyday. Hitting gym isn't going to give you a hot body if you don't know what you are doing; it also isn't going to help you lose weight if you don't change the way the you eat. It will however help tone your body no matter your size.

is that most ladies can in fact AFFORD a photo shoot. Why they don't choose to get pro pics is beyond me. They mis-manage their money or maybe are pimped. But to say most girls can't afford it is wrong. It's our business to be sexy, have new photos... Photo shoots arent a luxury they are maintenance. Like hair and nails. Should always be accounted for in a "escort budget"

As a hobbyist I look at the pictures posted by providers to help me decide if I really want to schedule a session with her.

I have already done some researcc reading her description from reviews. The photos reinforce or expand on these descriptions. These images have to show me her general build (curvy, athletic, spinner or BBW etc) . I'd like a sense of her grooming, hair color and a look at her face if she will post that.

That these pics are professionally done or come from a smart phone shot into a mirror does not really matter as long as I can see what I need to know.

The smart phone selfies can be really badly done though and the provider has got to figure out how to get a shot that is clear and usable.

Professionally done studio shots can be expensive and time consuming. Providers tend to keep the old shots online for much longer, while the selfies can be redone each week, sooo . . . .

Selfies shouldn't be the norm on a board that fancies itself above the likes of BP. Selfie = BP. Same same, as far as I'm concerned. I keep seeing everybody talk about how we should STFOBP, yet the ads read like BP and the pics look like BP.

Tell me, what's the real distinction between Eccie and BP right now?

Girls come here from BP using the same pics from before. There's no step up, because there's a love affair with selfies.

Explain to me again how pics of less quality are 'better' than pics of better quality.
