Default The FISA court finally speaks......

About Comey’s FBIs fraudulent tactics. It’s about time. Mr Super Patriot is having a rough time lately. And it’s going to get much worse. Maybe he’ll be sharing a jail cell with Manafort soon. Poetic justice.

Let's see, if a FBI agent gets cited for contempt of court, every case agent worked on probably becomes eligible to be tossed. Read the judges write carefully, she's saying she's about to start tossing cases.

From a WSJ story today:

Judge Rosemary Collyer, the presiding judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, wrote in the filing that a recent Justice Department watchdog report was “troubling” and described the behavior of the FBI as “antithetical to the heightened duty of candor” owed to the court by government agents.

“The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable. The FISC expects the government to provide complete and accurate information in every filing with the Court,” Judge Collyer wrote.

Not one MSM news channel said one word about this yesterday. Only Fox. No wonder Libtards in this forum are misinformed. And stupid.

Anybody remember a FISA judge that was close personal friends of a fired FBI agent? A judge that the agent wanted to get in front of? What was that FBI agent's name?

How many FISA warrants were ultimately denied from 2014-2016?

What concerns me is Chief Justice Roberts is supposed to have oversight of the FISA courts and he is going to be the "presiding judge" over the impeachment hearings.

Seems like the FISA courts have washed their hands of any culpability. The "we don't examine validity of what is brought before us" excuse. Judge Collyer rebuke is weak sauce.

Thought is that Friday - Dec 20 - the Court will announce further actions relevant to the FBI mis-conduct. Seems that maybe the Court under
Collyer woke up after a year and half or so of slumber to realize they were lied to by the FBI - and in any other scenario the individuals committing the lies would be charged and tried for obstruction of justice.

We shall see - but folks like Comey, rosenstein, andpage and sztrok should be having a very nervous holidays!

the fisa warrants. this is based on the honor system between agents and judges?

I don't think judges have any way to verify the contents of the warrant.

DF - you are correct - the court judges depend on the truthfulness of the underlying reason for the warrant as attested by the FBI.

Those lies to obtain warrants to spy for political purposes are coming home to roost.
