What drives your hobby budget?

What dictates how much you spend when you hobby? I ask, because I see some guys see a VIP that are often seeking bargains. I can understand this as I have on occasion set out for a purchase with a budget in mind, but found a service or product with some "add ons" that I liked, and was willing to spend outside of my budget to have. I'd like to hear your opinion though. I hope this does not turn into a dreaded rate thread.

Is it if you got a bonus? It's your bday and you always spend xyz? Is it you always spend $200? etc.

I'm just a poor, single, working slob. I will not spend $200 for something unless I can shoot it many more times. My working budget is in the neighborhood of $100 to $150. I feel the need or look at my bank account (or vise versa) and decide if I want some excitement. Then I go looking for said excitement. A well reviewed, but unknown woman is good, a well reviewed, and known woman is also just a notch higher, but there are a couple that I would be willing to go for more based on past experience.

Depending on how one feels about self-abnegation, the hobbyist's budget may have the same range throughout their windfalls. Treating oneself is good reason to partake more often or at a higher consideration.

Value is in the eye of the beholder. Passing on the opportunity to see an exquisitely reviewed upscale provider who is not personally known is a subjective value-based decision, especially when compared to the appeal of repeating first-hand experiences.

For me, it kind of depends on how steady my income is...and the last 6-8 months, it's not been as steady...so that's limited especially the frequency of my hobbying during that period. I tend to use windfalls to treat myself (or on special ocassions) I collect royalty checks for works I have published...not enough to live solely on, but between those and gigging as a musician, that extra money is what I usually use to hobby with. I'd say, though, my hobby appetite or desire definitely is a couple notches higher than what my bank account holds...but I doubt I'm the only one here who can say that (:

I often use winnings from poker games. The bigger the win, the more I am eager to share with a provider that values her time more expensive than others. It does make me play better knowing how I will be spending my winnings, but it is much more of a downer when I felt out and know I am missing out on hobby fun. Another draw back to my system is the need for short term availability. I don't often have the discipline to stash the windfall away for the days it will take to set up with a hard to schedule provider.

Just like in gambling, I never hobby with money needed to meet my expenses. You gals are fantastic, but not more important than the mortgage

I have a limited amount of money to hobby with. I do like overnights and socials. I like to take a lady to a social and spend the night with her. When I do this I like to go first class and figure to spend in the neighborhood of $1400. I have attended socials all over the state. Dallas has some problem with me so I attend socials else where. CK1942 has a bunch of socials with the Hollow Weeine party being the affair of the year. Since the demise of the fantastic Houston parties I have attended parties else where. I save back money to be able to attend the parties. Several ATFs are always priority and I will dig deeper into my account when I need to.

My budget is limited by how often I can get it up. Being an older guy and even with Viagra, I am limited to 2-3x/week for a quality erection. While I am financially comfortable now, I wish I had had more money when I was younger when I was able to get it up as often as I wanted to.

However, bear in mind I am a 30 minute bodyrub with HE kind of guy so I don't pay as much for each encounter. Not interested in the pricey PSE escorts or hourly rates etc..

And this, my eccie friends, is part of why this world is such an interesting place. Beauty, and value, are very much in the eye of the beholder. Each of us have our own ways and reasons for doing things. I have always been very much of a quality over quantity type of guy, even as a kid.

I would much rather see one $400 per hour lady as opposed to two at $200 per hour. Please understand that it is not my intent to disparage or criticize anyone. There is a place for everyone's needs and desires in this little sub-culture of ours. It's just that, for me, when I spend time with a lady, it's about much more than just the physical pleasure she can provide. I saw a great quote on the national board recently and I will procelytize it here: "I want to borrow her mind, her body, her smile, her laugh, her complete person when I am with her". I am sure that there are some $200 per hour ladies who do provide that experience, but I believe these more "courtesan like" skills are found more readily in the higher priced ladies. I particularly enjoy experiencing the complete essence of a woman. There is little that is more delightful to me than spending an evening with an engaging woman; perhaps a cocktail and some dinner with intelligent conversation and a little flirting, followed by some wonderful BCD time. At their best, women are amazing creatures and should be appreciated much like a fine wine.

This is a good thread. It is easy for ladies to forget that what we consider a reasonable hourly rate often represents a pretty big chunk of a guy's fun budget. To me, this thread helps keep it in perspective that I need to mindful of and appreciative of the money guys are willing to spend to see me. This more than any other reason is why I always want to put 110% into every appointment. Gotta try to make sure that it was worth every penny

SOTF we appreciate those that go to the max for us. I generally see a lady at an incall the first time for a couple of hours to see if we mesh and if we do then I invite them for an over night. I just can not fathom being with a woman that is dumb and with no sense of humor. I will PM you in a minute.

I am limited much more by my schedule and the realities of provider screening than I am by my wallet. This means that I very often see the $100-$150 girls because they are more likely to advertise immediate availability and not require screening.

If we had "walk-in" places like they do in Tulsa, I'd be much more likely to pay $250 per hour. When I find myself with a free hour and the desire to play, I'm willing to pay for that convenience.

Advice in the past has been better from KCQ to me, but I feel obligated to share my feelings and experience. Advanced booking normally requires advanced screening. Some providers are thoughtful toward scheduling issues like KCQ has described so as to screen for an appointment coming to fruition within 1 week, having the knowledge that there may only be a couple hours notice. This, of course, may mean the lady sacrifices other appointments or is booked when the limited availability of the hobbyist allows further contact, and would generally not be practical for less than 90 minutes with a lady.
