I'm looking to accumulate helpful guidelines (less for me, more for the common good). I wish there could be a sticky for noobs to read before they ask for info.
There have been a number of generic info seeking threads lately about ads from less reputable sites like skip the games and sipsap. On sipsap there are many profiles with obviously fake info. Weight in kilos, not pounds, pics that come up with matches on tineye or Google image search, ethnicity that doesn't match pictures, location that isn't local at all, etc.
Are there similar obvious "fails" on stg?
Other obvious things you can add to the list of sipsap or others?
I've never hobbied often - I live in the boonies and can only play when I get to a city for work and have free time. With covid, it's been almost 2 years now. I mostly lurk because there's not much I can contribute and I'm aware I don't have much credibility because of that. However, I'm wishing for a bridge between ignorant newbies asking questions easily answered and those who have been around forever annoyed by the same old questions that are obviously fake or scams.

It's not so much that I'm looking for info about her but I was surprised to see a new face that didn't trigger my spidey sense. There's either the lovely reputables like our Miss Bliss, Lexi Layne and Cricket or those with at best inconsistent reviews like Riley or Khaos or else the masses of fakes. A new potential option was so surprising that I was suspicious and wondered what I was missing.

I would have assumed she was fake and never would have contacted her and was surprised at the positive reviews. After a few reviews, silence fell.
So - any lessons for new guys?
Is there a way to keep something accessible so someone asking what seems a dumb question can be told: see that sign? Read it.
