Question about References/Screening

I'm fairly new to the hobby despite my account creation date. I've only seen one provider and it was probably too long ago to matter now. There's a provider I'm trying to work my way up to, but of course I need references. My question is, do references trump screening to do I have to screen every time for every separate provider?

I don't have a lot of time in this world myself but references are just a part of screening. Every provider probably has their own standards when it comes to what they require to make an appointment. Some might see you based on references alone, some might see you with no references but other info, some will want both. The first girl I met with I talked about references and some of the other women in the area and she told me one of them in particular was mad at her, wouldn't say why, and using her as a reference would probably hurt more than help.

What made me panic was the time when the provider didn't want anything not even a screen name. It was so out of left field for me at that time I overreacted.

Well each girl does whatever she feels to be safe. The newbie girls don't need references. They need real world info. The other girls will need references. They feel safer knowing you had a session with someone. Especially the most popular. I am sure there are some who do a little of both. It sounds like you have a little work a head of you. See a few newbie girls who are reference friendly. They will screen till they feel you pass. You then have references. Then you can get a hold of the girl you mentioned.

I see. That makes sense. What kind of thing do providers usually ask for in terms of screening? I'm kind of uncomfortable revealing my work information. I mean I don't mind telling them what I do, but would be nervous telling them where I do it.

I've always avoided the work ones not because I care if they know but even I don't know a phone number to my work and I've worked there for 21 years and we also don't have email addresses. It's completely automated. When I buy a car they ask for a work number and I give them the 1-800 number which does them fuck all good because without a work ID after that they're not getting anywhere.

References are good. But just email the provider and ask her if she has alternate screening methods.
