When a lady posts an ad in an forum, how do you interpret the meaning of the phrase "open minded?"

Curious to see both ladies and gents opinions on this.

As for me, it suggests that a woman is open to all sorts of options when it comes to a hobby experience such as fetishes, or be willing to try exotic/different positions and being non judgmental of what a guy is interested in or wanting to do.

I am particularly interested in what our ladies think on this.

Depends ... for a lady relatively new to the hobby, I think your interpretation below is pretty accurate.

With a lady who has been a part of our community for a while, "open-minded" more often seems to be a subtle suggestion for Greek. The above still applies (open to ideas, non-judgemental, etc.), however the phrase more often than not leads to that particular activity. Of course YMMV and there are always exceptions to the "rule".

I agree with your interpretation, SF. And while I think Dent's statement applies to some ladies, I think others use the phrase to have us believe we will get whatever we desire, but after the money goes down, well, "open minded" sadly gets a narrower interpretation.

I think many use it purely as a marketing phrase and it has no meaning what so ever.

I agree with Budman. In the end, a lady will only do what she wants. So "open minded" is only a teaser, but so what. A lady known over time is much more likely to be agreeable to your polite suggestions.

Never really pay that term much attention. I've taken to heart that line, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks." I'm now thankful I suffered through Shakespeare's Hamlet in HS.

Open minded to me would be that I am willing to try something new or something that's not typically in my menu but YMMV. With all honesty I think using that word can be misleading & I personally do not use it in my ads.

Id assume they'd mean not racist, ageist, and not possessing a long drawn out "no" list they have to recite to you before the session.

My interpretation for being open-minded is...being receptive to new ideas/adventures. I try not to judge people on who they choose to see...or what they want to experience...it's all good!

Posting that you're open-minded is letting the community know there's no need to feel embarrassed or uneasy about your fantasies.

It means you should look at the "Activities" field on the gals reviews. If what you're looking for isn't listed there, then it most likely isn't going to happen for you. My experience tells me that it's meaningless marketing.
