The last thing America needs is our leadship being handed down from one generation to the next; the Bush's were a prime example of why that is a bad idea.....I thought the whole idea of the Revolution was to break away from entitlements like this... I kind respected Amy Carter for going solo and remaining behind the scenes; Chelsea, the Bush daughter Jenna, McCain's kid, they all want to be celebrities.......why can't they accept the benefits that America offered them and do somthing good, quietly and away from the press.

Despite some of the nonsense on here, it is troublesome when a son (or daughter) feels like they have to gain approval by emulating what their father did, and by doing it better. I wonder if they really are making their own choices, or trying to fulfill a need that was left neglected when their father was seeking and/or obtaining higher office. Or, perhaps, trying to gain the approval of a father they either didn't know, or barely knew.

I think we can see those issues at play in both Romney and Obama, and while it's common, it does make you wonder what is truly driving them.
