There's a very well established provider in DSM, and I'm aware she's legit, but she wants my drivers license if we are to meet. Never happening. There's far too many options out there for that nonsense.
Deposits, even worse. There's too many "thinking with the wrong head" stories on why that's a bad idea.
If they want names of prior providers, sure, if those prior providers are ok. Not all want to be a reference. That's reasonable and expected. If you don't have any, chat and see what you can do, but never a deposit or your personal info.
