So many mixed messages.

Floyd died at the knee of a smirking White Cop, who posed with Floyd like a Deer Hunter who just bagged a 10-point Buck.

But how does that become what is has become? A near worship of a majorly flawed Man, who happened to be the victim of the murder in Minneapolis?

What does Juneteenth have to do with Floyd's murder?

Floyd was a Slave in life. a Slave to his personal Demons. a drug addict with an extensive criminal history. Jesus Christ died brutally, but he lived an exemplary life. Does Floyd get to be Jesus-like, simply because he died in a brutal manner AND is black?

I'm not even going to mention (ok, I guess I am) places like Seattle and Portland, where people burned and destroyed entire neighborhoods in the name of George Floyd justice. Huh???

''My Daddy changed the World'', Floyd's daughter famously stated. The Daddy who, frankly, was an absentee Father, barely a Daddy at all to her, but she is too young to understand that. I won't be surprised at all, to see Floyd heralded as a great Father, this Father's Day weekend. With his Daughter's quote as a form of evidence. Let's stop the Deification of George Floyd. Nothing positive can come from an absurd identity.

Even more June 19 was the day of a unlegal executive order call the emancipation proclamation, It also only free slave in land that the federal government and untied states had no control over. It would be like if said all Iran must have AC in there factory. It was not untill Dec 18 1865 over 2 years later that slave were free.

Emancipation Proclamation: September 22, 1862. Attempted to free slaves only in the States in active Rebellion. Missouri, Kentucky Maryland and West Virginia
legally retained their slaves till 1865.

"Juneteenth": June 19th, 1865. Announced the above to the slaves in Galveston Texas.

Thirteenth Amendment: January 31st, 1865.
THIS is the document that actually abolished slavery in the USA. Neither of the others actually did.

The thing I'm scratching my head about is why are there statues of him in Brooklyn and New Jersey? They're 1300 miles from Minneapolis. He isn't from there, and he didn't die there. It's like a D-Day memorial in Italy. or a Pearl Harbor memorial in Kansas City.

Andrew Jackson is on the Twenty Dollar Bill. It doesn't need to be changed. Most of what Harriet Tubman did was exaggerated anyway.
