I know things can get bad, but I'll bet that posting a need for $1500 to bond your partner out, is probably not the best advertising tactic. I'll guess that some mighty poor decisions were involved to get in this situation.

I think things are getting a little out of hand!

I think the three threads you posted are completely different. The first is obviously phony, the second is for a small amount from a well respected provider and I would be surprised if one of her regulars hasn't come through already. In the third, she is honest about what the money is needed for and says she will work her ass off until she raised the money - not necessarily looking for a handout.

Have to say I agree with the above. While you may be right that it might not be a great marketing ploy since some guys will steer clear of any hint of LE, it absolutely does not belong in a thread about "panhandlers". Plus, I guarantee there are guys right now who saw that ad, smelled blood in the water, and jumped on it because they expect to get a better deal than normal. Maybe she should thank you.

Every time we have one of those threads asking for help someone chimes in "Why aren't you running specials." Now this girl does and she's trashed because you don't like the reason (A reason that is, you know, kinda common in this business, whether they admit it or not.) At least she was honest about it.

Those who PM'd me found out that my need was actually far less than 100 and also found out that I was more than happy to trade in kind-- didn't want a "handout", ... Mine was more of a situation of doing something stupid (I live a good distance from town) than attempting to "scam the masses". Once I had what I needed, I told others that the need was taken care of and thanks for their response.

And pretending your child has a terminal disease is less "panhandling" and more "being one of the lowest piece of shit human beings imaginable". Hypothetically, of course.

Most do not realize that a majority of us tend to "isolate" ourselves and do not know who to turn to when in need. If you dislike what you are reading then just skip over any title that you think will lead to that.

When i was a young man and needed help, I would go to Mom and Dad. My childern do that same thing now. I assume most here have some form of family. Unless you have already burned them, I bet they would be glad to help.

Might also think about posting a special without all of the drama. Just a great deal and work to get through your problem.

Just a hunch, but I would guess that many of the women here probably wouldn't be here in the first place if they had Ward and June Cleaver financially supporting them.

I think these are in a way a similar response. For us guys, in most cases we are living two distinct lives and never shall the two cross. For the ladies, it is one life with many complications. By posting their pictures here, they have effectively cut themselves off from their old life, their families, etc. (Sure, I know, a real generalization, some can maintain the two lives, but it is tough.)

So, whether we like it or not, we are family. Not the one shown in Leave it to Beaver, maybe closer to Three's Company or 2 1/2 Men, or one of those dang reality shows I despise.

Amen-- why doncha take a gander at the "specials" section in my showcase Bloodhound and tell me just how much more "Special" I should fucking be to please the masses??

I can tell you one thing, I'm just about done with specials. They don't do anything other than make the guys want to wait a little longer just to see "how low can she go". So, fuck it. I'll skip the specials and live on my student loans if need be. But I'm done trying to placate those with no intentions of meeting me, ever.

Exactly. Even go so far as to explain that they have a specific situation and that the special is in response to that. I think Ginger's post/ad did just that.
