Default Maxine Waters and other Democratic Party Politicians who are election deniers and crooks

... Thanks for clearing that up... I did reckon THAT is what
you meant by "fake electors".... Maxine and the Democrats
didn't think their electors were "fake" when THAY did it.

I'm creating this for Salty, so we won't go off topic in Vitaman's excellent Arizona electors thread. While perhaps Salty wasn't literally correct in saying Maxine Waters brought fake electors to the 2017 election certification, she's certainly frequently been up to no good during her long political career.

Please feel free to contrast Democrat election deniers and crooks to Donald Trump in this thread.

I'll kick it off with an article about election deniers, like Maxine Waters, Stacey Abrams, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi, Jamie Raskin, Barbara Lee, and Jerry Nadler:

https://www.dailysignal.com/2022/11/...ped-opponents/

Here are 12 minutes of Democratic Politicians denying the results of the 2016 election and/or calling it illegitimate, including Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Jimmy Carter, Joe Biden, John Lewis, Sheila Jackson, and on and on.

https://gop.com/video/12-minutes-of-...ction-results/

Here are 24 minutes of the same, for 2016, 2000 and other elections that Republicans won,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRYB6N8fBKQ

This describes how Maxine and her relatives got rich from her time in Congress, and how the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics put Waters on its list of most corrupt members of Congress in 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2011.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...ut-to-pasture/

Here's a writeup on Maxine Water's shady dealings by the aforementioned Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington:

No wonder Jessie Watters on Fox has it in for her! She's besmirched the family name!

... Not to mention bringing slates of electors on Trump's
certification - to pressure VP Biden to send the election
back to the states... And Biden did the proper thing and
gaveled Maxine and the others down - saying Trump won
the Presidency.

... Does Maxine have the right to challenge the election results??

... So Trump wanted to do the same thing at Biden's certification
- seeing-as there were voting fraud issues (and STILL are)
in Georgia - and were also issues and some other states.

... So IF it's A-OK for Maxine to do this - then it's A-OK for Trump.
See? ... Fair Play for all... Even-Steven.

... So seeing-as Trump (and others) are facing charges for this,
then obviously Maxine Waters and a number of others will ALSO
be facing charges come next year. ...

There definitely are constitutional policies in place to try and keep corruption out of elections and ways to challenge it. But like usual Democrats think all rules are ment to keep only them in power. The other side is meant to be charged with criminal activity if they use the same rules.

I just want someone to let me know when any of these election denier clowns can actually prove their bullshit claims. I definitely won't hold my breath until then because I've never cared for fiction over facts.

Lucas, you seem like an intelligent guy, but to not understand how the corruption of the elections can occur with it almost impossible to prove is the real problem.

When you have voting taking place for 2 or 3 months it is almost impossible to guarantee accuracy. Voter rolls are often not kept up to date properly so people could vote in two different polling places. Without voter id it is harder to track and verify legal voters. When one side doesn't want voter id it is a guarantee that they have the system rigged in their favor.

Where is voting open for “2 or 3 months?”

Fast and loose with the facts for a change.

Nothing you’ve posted above makes a lot of sense. Sounds more like panicky regurgitation of alt-right talking points.

If you can’t prove it - you said “almost impossible,to prove” - then it’s likely a false claim.

Did Maxine call various state officials and attempt to find votes?

Did she engage in voter supression or try to intimidate election workers?

Did she order numerous recounts in swing states, including forensic recounts.

Anyone can challenge the outcome of an election. But it takes a special kind of dipshit to try and overturn one for three years.

This isn’t even close to an apples to apples comparison. And you all know it.

If you can't prove it, then there is nothing to talk about IMO.

In 2016, when folks were bitchin about Trump and Russia, I thought, "whatever, prove it or STFU". In 2020 (and still to date), Trump has gone next level with his bullshit, and I still think the same thing. Again, until someone can actually prove wrongdoing on either side, they should move on with their lives. It's not a life sentence for fucks sake. It is only 4 years and then you can right a wrong in the next election.

I will add that Democrats sure the fuck got over 2016 a hell of a lot faster than MAGA in 2020 who still have not. I guess Dems have more important shit to do with their time.

Would Maxine Waters or Stacey Abrams have done something like Trump if she were an incumbent president who lost an election? Would a few Democratic Senators and a majority of Democratic Representatives have voted not to seat Republican electors from one or two states, if pushed by a President Waters or a President Abrams?

We'll probably never know. Maxine will never be president, and Stacey probably won't.

You mean read up on Republican election denialism?

I read the Wikipedia link before you posted it. It's the most biased entry I've read on Wikipedia. It's just as biased as the Heritage Foundation's Daily Signal piece I linked to.

There's a popular Progressive Democrat web site, Crooks and Liars, dedicated to the proposition that Republicans are Crooks and Liars. That's only half the story. Most politicians, Democrats and Republicans, are liars and many are crooks. And most are happy to claim to believe whatever it is they have to, in order to win elections. Maybe it's because of personal ambition, or maybe they believe the ends justify the means -- that is, they'll do a better job for their constituents than the other guy. What I’m trying to say is that a lot of the Republican election deniers believe Trump lost. They said what they had to say to win the primaries.

A couple of exceptions to “liars and crooks” come to mind, both Libertarian Republicans, Jeff Flake and Gary Johnson. Neither is a politician now, which may tell you something, and neither is a fan of Trump. I point that out because they could be poster boys for the Cato Institute. And your Cato piece does have some good points, although it's somewhat biased towards Democrats as well. Bernie Sanders is honest too. Dead wrong, but honest.

Then why ask a silly ass hypothetical question that is impossible to answer with certainty? Riddle me that shit... no wonder so many damn people stopped posting in this forum. The whataboutism is nonsensical to most unless they get off on conspiracy theories.

Edit for below: Haha

The Democrats never got over Trump winning and made up two impeachments against Trump.
