When was your last 'Regular Date' that resulted in sex?

I was IMing a buddy about girls we have met on the net and I realized that the last time I got laid by just meeting someone socially or through friends was in 1995...

I was very surprised when I stopped to think about it.
I have used the internet since 1998 to get laid.. either by dating sites, swinger sites, Spa's, Studios, Massage Parlors, escort sites, BP, CL, AFF and so on....

Kind of makes me sad to think about it, but I do believe its just the nature of our society now.. or I could just be to lazy to actually apply myself anymore..


p.s. the girl I met in 1995 dated her off and on for the next 3 years, I did not go 3 years without getting laid

Back before internet dating, I paid good money to join a dating service. The local type thing. Make a video, take a picture, write a profile type thing. After joining, I went through their books scrupulously looking for my perfect match. I went through the service's process of requesting a date. … No response. …

Back to the books.

This time I picked several ladies who would make an excellent match. … No … No … No response.

I continued this process working my way through their book of potential dates. Expanding the circle. Widening the search. By the time I finally got a "yes" response, I had worked my way so far from what I was looking for that there was absolutely no hope of any positive outcome from that date.

That unfortunate experience is basically my dating life in a nutshell.

Not only has it been more than ten years (much more, but I'm not saying exactly) since I had sex without paying for it, but I haven't even paid for sex in several years. As a frugal person, I just can't believe how much it costs to have sex. For the past few years, I had been spending about $200 a week on $10 dances in the strip club, but these days I can't even find a decent $10 dance. I keep looking, but for the most part I just get drunk and go home with a pocket full of money.

Which I guess is why I'm drunk and in a bad mood right now. Oops. The drunk post alert is supposed to go at the beginning of the post isn't it.

OK, so a "date" that ends in sex, that's the question. First dates from the internet, non-dirty sites or dirty sites, don't seem to count. I've never been fond of dates with the intent of trying out boyfriend material, so I guess I can't count on that end either.

Is picking someone up at a bar count as a date? I'm awfully good at that. Once I picked up a boy on a plane to Vegas and slept with him a few nights later in Vegas. Once I picked up two soldiers at Emo's and they rotisserie-d me back in their hotel room. Once I grabbed the closest stranger for a New Year's kiss and decided to take him home with me. Once I picked-up my roommate's academic advisor and he took me home with him. Once...well, you get the drift.

Hmmm. Apparently I do a lot of "going home" and not a lot of "going out." I dig it!

Over a year ago? I don't date at all. I have no idea where to meet a decent civilian man? I'm with genesis...the civilian men I've met play games. I've been burned to the core, so I am scared to date lol! I just don't have the emotional energy tol put myself out there like that again. At least in the hobby you know what to expect and your heart is not on the line. I have other priorities like little ones and finishing a degree.
