Couple of suggestions.

Top order, consult some of the ladies who travel into your home territory on potential elsewhere.

Then perhaps track some this site's top travelers both in public forums and in the national powder room. Tia travels and DallasRain are two that come to mind.

Be very prepared, perhaps with three or four geographically "closely linked" potential destinations to save on time and travel expenditures. For example, Austin is 200 miles from Dallas, and 100 miles from San Antonio. Plus Houston.

Explore very carefully local rate structure, hotel and food and transportation expenses and build your travel budget accordingly. Never expect to do much better than "break even" initially.

When you feel you have narrowed your potential destinations ask several of your local ATFs to consider some minimal assistance since can let the distant gents know your qualities and quantities.
