is there a way for my computer to beep when i get a PM?

A notification from Eccie cannot make your PC emit a sound. However, what you can do is code your account to send an email notification to you when a PM has been sent to you. If you have your phone programmed to receive emails from the account associated with your Eccie profile, you will get an email on your phone taht can be programmed to play a sound or tone.

Go to the User CP, select Edit Options and scroll down to Message Notification and in the box labeled Private Messaging, and select "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
