Site speed
Sorry if this has been asked before and I understand the need for them but..
Is there a way to eliminate some of the ads.
The site can be extremely slow at times. I think the ads are probably why, well, that and the sheer size of the DB, Forums, posts, Etc.
I really like this site but sometimes it is just really cumbersome.
I might even be willing to pay a nominal fee to be added to a usergroup that Ads do not show up for.
Thoughts?

In IE11, page loading is often hanging up, after five out of nine banners appear. Is one of the banners the problem?

I use Opera for my hobby browsing, maybe that is why, LOL but good to know about IE11.
It just really hangs alot, most of the time and I assume it is the Ads.
Funny because sometimes it's really fast like just now, sadly it is seldom

If Adblock Plus doesn't work with your browser, it works with Chrome. Might also work with Firefox. It might slow things down itself, but might be less than with the ads.

I downloaded adblock
It does remove alot of the ads so it's already a plus. LOL
It does seem to help with the speed a little but not much.
Every little bit helps though so thank you

This problem seems to have been resolved.
